2:42 "You can turn your Stability control off whirch I never recommend" - Idk why but all videos of people dealing with the Cayenne Turbo 2008's model tend to forget that this button also allows a quicker throttle response and your car will be in overdrive for some faster accelerations. Good Video btw one of the most complete I've ever seen about this model (:

A Le Mans start on the left. Right hand was to put on the shifter.

Hi Ivan, nice review. The key is on the left for Le Mans endurance races, not Formula 1. The old Le Mans races started with the drivers on the other side of the start line, and they had to run to the cars, start them, and put them into gear before driving off. Putting the "key" on the left allowed the drivers to press the starter at the same time they put the car into gear, giving them a slight advantage over the competition in staying out of the start line mayhem. Honestly, it drives me nuts... LOL As it is still this way for no reason other than nostalgia... (with that logic, we would not have seatbelts or airbags! Or maybe we would still have hand crank starters! LOL) My Boxster, and my wife's Macan still retain this "feature", while my S63 AMG and M6 both have normal right hand push button start... Even my MB E320 Diesel (brilliant daily!) is right hand keyed. Which I much prefer, especially when moving from one vehicle to the other. MOST of the people that buy Macans and Cayennes have little to no connection with Porsches of the past, they just want the best SUV's they can get, and of course the cachet of the badge. Porsche needs to just move on... 🙂

Intersport is a solid specialist! Debating a higher mileage 958 GTS vs a 957 Turbo currently. Any feedback?

Turbo. I did a test drive on both and went with the Turbo. Enjoy what ever you do.

957 turbo still faster than a 958 gts, but worse MPG

@10:25 “you see a lot of women driving them.” Oh really?? That statement might be true for SUVs in general but I seriously doubt it for a Cayenne Turbo. Just sayin.

Yes, SUV's in general. Women like the safety of being in a large vehicle with a commanding view of the road. Thanks for watching and commenting and SUBSCRIBE and SHARE! Drivin' Ivan

God I want one of these so bad, seriously considering purchasing one if I can find one I can afford. The used car market is insane right now. This video was made in Feb 2020, probably back when these cars could be found for stupid cheap under $10k. Then COVID happened. Let's go Brandon. sigh

Not a vehicle for 2020 13 mpg for the turbo, it's the last dinosaur, of v8 petrol guzzlers, it would be fine if petrol was free hoho but it's bloody expensive here in the UK, so I'm afraid no Porsche cayenne for me , I'll just stick to my ultra relatable Lexus rx thanks, afar nicer vehicle to drive every day, and without the urber expensive bills you get with the Porsche, in about 10 year's this vehicle is obsolete nobody will want one, it will be all electric or hybrid vehicles and no diesel either ,so buy one now and have some fun before your not allowed, and you can say to your grand children what fun you had way back in the day hoho

One more thing I ...in the real world nobody drives up the road as if there bollocks was on fire, you simply can't, because of police and speed cameras everywhere, if you want to go bankrupt and loose your driver's license, ho buy a Porsche cayenne ,,,
