Bob is wonderful and his honest approach to clients is so respected! This conversation is so great for anyone thinking about an "older" Porsche. Been there done that ... currently driving a 356C.

Great video. I found myself chiming in as if I was part of the conversation. In the middle of a 1975 911 restoration. It really helps to have knowledgeable people involved when going into the deep end!😁Keep up all of the great work.

Getting Porsche #14 to restore, I have to say the most fun was my 1967 Porsche 912 coupe, great video and talk boys!

Another great video. 👍 Looking for a B210? I had a 1977 metallic brown 2door sedan in college. My friends and I called it “The Penalty Box”! 😜 it was the first brand new I’d ever bought. Back then, you waited for an allocation sometimes months due to import limitations at the time in 1977. Dead reliable but absolutely boring to drive. 0-60 measured in days. 😳 Replaced with a new 1979 Honda Civic CVCC. Super-quick and fun to drive. Terror at autocrosses. 👍

This topic can apply to the restoration of almost any classic, common or otherwise. And over the past 10 - 15 years more and more people are trying to do a Barrett Jackson inspired restoration to cash in and retire.

This may be the vintage air cooled Porsche version of "Scared Straight." I almost feel like I should practice on VWs to build/hone/practice until I attempt/consider a vintage Porsche. If I could just find a solid driver I'd be cool. I don't need it to be pristine or anywhere near concourse because I intend to drive it until the wheels fall off! Vu, sell me your 914! Tom Cotter (The Barn Find Hunter) has a lot of history with B210s. You might reach out to him for some leads on one.
