It is a shame that the operations are running so poorly. I would be frustrated to if that was happening in my case. I feel bad for you two. But besides that I hope you guys had a nice time!

The truth is with theming you don't get a return on investment most of the time as people will still come to the park to ride the rollercoasters theming or not. Don't get me wrong theming greatly enhances a ride but the reality is its not economically always viable

Portaventuras operations are always weird 😂 last year sometimes they were so good we had ten back to back rides on dragon Kahn, but we also spent an entire week failing to get on templo del fuego, once getting locked in the queue line 😭

We were there on the Friday and agree operations were terrible. One thing of note, the amount of queue jumpers! Way more than any other park I've been to. Never saw anyone attempt to stop them all day aside from myself & partner. Are queues just not a thing in Spain?

I headed to portaventura today and the wait times honestly weren't too bad , furious bacu had a wait time of 1hr 30 but my friends went on express and were only 10 mins ahead of us , very oversold

So sorry to see how poorly Shambhala was being operated, I got a walk on last year from the single rider queue! It reminds me of my experience queuing for Ride To Happiness at Plopsaland de Panne last year when there were 5 minute dispatches, meaning I got in the queue at about 3:30PM and didn't get off the ride till after park close.

Uncharted looks great! I know the Thusies thought it looked tame, but they're generally not happy unless coasters are 900 foot tall 12 launch monsters. Looks like a great addition, and another reason to escape the heat.

Oh my, those queues. I've been to port aventura a couples of times and experienced my fair share aswell, for example a 3 hour wait for Furious Baco as the first ride of the day :D. Or 2 hours for Huracan Condor. However, this comfirms my theory that one simply has to get express passes when visiting Port Aventura, I will for sure get them the next time!

PortAventura has not just bad operations but it's just poorly managed all round. Connect the two parks together up the price of the main ticket by about €8-€10. Limit fast track to one ride only not unlimited! Those are a few things I would do!

This is my first and only abroad park I’ve been to and it is such an amazing park! Just went to Blackpool yesterday and Valhalla was running no effects because it just broke down 😢😂

Think you're right about Uncharted...to many dark spots and not enough physical sets. However, an indoor family coaster was needed at PA. I'm still looking fwd to giving it a few rides this year though.....these ops better pick up by then!

Hey mate, Amazing vlog. I am glad that you raised the same issue with PortAventura and it's queue lines for Shambala. I agree i feel like they heavily prioritise express customers. We both understand that as they have paid extra they get priority, however i feel with every ride at Port that they don't run it fair like here in the UK. For example in the UK they do like 10 from fast track - 30 from main queue. At Port it was Express until the express queue was empty. I'm glad to see it wasn't just me that felt like that. Still doesn't stop me visiting PortAventura every couple of months. Excellent vlog.

Just but the express pass m8 :). I mean you're surely spending atleast 400 hours on traveling and hotels etc (if you don't live in the area) to visit the park. Why not spend another 100 euros and really enjoy the rides instead of standing in line all day?

Just got back from a week staying at the Hotel Gold River. The park itself was good but the operations were so slow and the rides broke down frequently. Ferrari Land was underwhelming apart from Red Force but thankfully I didn't have to pay extra for it as it was included in my deal!

Stampida looked rough here! It’s funny to think I had to take my rucksack on with me when I rode it and needed to hold on to my water bottle as we were going round as it was slipping out of the side compartment 😬😅

Damn, I was there recently. 3 weeks before the opening of Uncharted. Wish I could have taken a ride on this thing, but at least the operations at Shambala were better and waiting times were decent. Can´t have it all, right? Great vlog guys!

PortAventura World as an Amusement Park looks great with some great rides & theming throughout the park. But they do definitely need to significantly improve the operations there so guests can have a much better enjoyable time at the park as paying customers. In regards to operations at the park they need to get there act together & sort it out.

Uncharted was so underwhelming especially with a 3 hour queue . Operations when we visited where awful. The park is still lovely, well themed with some great rides. If they could sort out operations it would be soooo much better

Shawn and Charlotte, I had the same problem with Shambhala back in April. Me and my partner joined the single rider queue after a bad experience the day before and when we joined the SR queue we pin pointed a group of girls to see how far they got in the main queue in comparison to us. Unfortunately they ended up on the same train as us, so our SR queue didn’t move much. So much queue jumping too. I’m not sure why the operations are poor on this ride and in other across the park but something needs to change! Otherwise, I love this park, it’s absolutely gorgeous!

Just went last week. First visit and wow shambala is incredible. Uncharted was good but as you said it was too open rather than seeming like a more linear story coaster

Uncharted the actual game is about the adventures of archeologist Nathan Drake and his trials to get artifacts at great danger. He often goes into very hostile situations with often mercenaries trying to kill him. The games take us from the deserts of the Middle East, the jungles of Cambodia, even to Persia. Honestly the ride would fit quite well into the mythos as Nathan would go pretty much anywhere to get the artifact. Honestly the closest real life counterpart is Josh gates right now. Josh often ventures into hostile territories to find the truth about ancient civilizations. He had a heck of a time in Cambodia trying to recover Kamir artifacts which are still lost. He also was in Africa just before the civil war broke out, he was looking into the lost mummies of Egypt of one particular period in history.

For what I know PA is not finding people to hire and they had to shorten schedule and don’t have enough people looking for operatives. It’s really sad that this is happening, let’s hope that next year all of this is going to be solved.

Ahh I just came back from portaventura 2 days ago and it was my first time, also my first time in any rollar coaster! So of course I went on Shambhala first😂 I miss it so much , I also went on uncharted spoiler free and I absolutely loved it , bit claustrophobic in the Que but it was worth it. Also stampeda broke down just as it was my turn but it started again about 30 minutes later 🤣 definitely will return

I will spend one day at the both parks in October. It is gonna be my first ever visit, but we dont have much time in Barcelona, so I only have one day. I am really happy that I am able to ride another new for 2023 Coaster (The other New Coaster was Eat my Dust at Walibi Holland). I am also really happy to ride Furius Baco, Red Force and Shambala for the first time😊

The operations are the reason I hate this Park. It could be Europe's top notch but these deliberately bad operations and the whole express pass misery just about kills it. Seeing this makes me question my choices to give it another go in Halloween season. This looks truely unbearable :O

Soooo crazy interesting this big beautiful theme park wil be a new universal park resort soon , so much patents have been made and confirmed, expansions too with harry potter ,mario, Jurassic park and more , hotel resorts and brand new city shopping entertainment center area too. I wonder of the big news be said on new years !!!

It's a shame what they are doing with the resort, is just about making more and more money ruining the experience of the customers. I will not come back until it goes back until a fair treatment from the park to the people. Is just a scam, no new rides, the park operations are an absolutelly shame, they force you to pay 100€ per day per express, use to endure all your stay, not anymore, is just a scam. I won't go back in years. Is really overpriced for the offer they have currently and the terrible experience.

We visited in May and it wasn't my first visit, but will most likely be our last . Awful operations, miserable staff and so many little kids que jumping and cutting in line. Shambala and Red force were absolutely fantastic. But apart from those two rides , there's not much worth going for .

Well I have been looking forward to riding shambhala for years and finally got to ride it…wow …what a coaster….on the other hand I also went on dragon khan and found it torture….how can you both say it isn’t rough?…if you look at your video as the coaster bottoms out after the first drop it feels like there is a lump out of the track…such a shame…nemi was never this rough and they are still re tracking it…I say re track dragon khan or replace it…..as he puts tin hat on 😂

The worst thing is we got back from 2 weeks there , a week before your here so the shammyB fountain has been out for at least 3 weeks Condor has only been on two towers the entire time aswell And it seems that’s just the way stampida runs now , we had a bit of rain on one of our rides on the back row around 9pm ish , we genuinely thought it was going to derail it was that rough , and like you guys said the layout it very very good , with GCI’s that’s probably a top 20 woody

What on earth is the point of a single rider queue if they don't use it to fill the missing seats? And how do management not inspect what's causing such a long queue and attempt to address it? Honestly baffling.

I found the blue side of stampida the better side smoother than red apart from one corner where it jolts you its at 43:58 that corner is unbearable on the blue side but red was worse apart from that corner that corner was smoother and less painful on the red and when i went on the red side i had to stick my bottle of aquarius up my shorts cos i couldnt put it to the side which did not make it better

On a vacation to Porta for 2 weeks, have to say that im not that dissapointed about the operations. Sometimes operations stall a bit but i feel like they do go for capacity. I might be going on the best days though i have no idea.

I went here in August and Shambalah has the worst operations of any ride ive ever seen. The Express Line for this and Furius Baco were also way too long. It took me 45 minutes in the express line for Baco. This park is beautiful and has great rides, but management and operations are terrible.

The worst for me was in Ferrari world and was flying dream as they forgot us in the corridor just before entering in row 2 for 45 mins as we heard it going on but we got no one telling us what was happening
