Yep, I don't even think it needs to be an honest convo. It just goes back to that discussion people had after the England game. Where Renk (giving him his credit) pointed out that so many teams keep tryna shoehorn as many stars as they can into their XIs when the reality is sometimes at international level in knockout football that's GID you just need to find what works for the most players and go with that. No need to shoehorn stars into a team if they underperform especially some stars who ball out at club level but can't get it together at international level. And vice versa that's why we also see sometimes when tournaments come around there'll be so many players who are bums at their clubs but show out on the international stage when it's time to GID. So many teams fumble this 😂 overcomplicating things instead of just going with whatever system/platform/foundation that works for the players they have. But yeah I say all that ramble to agree coz a lot of coaches forget that just coz someone balls at club level doesn't mean they can work for what they are asking of at international level etc sometimes the heroes end up being those players who aren't maybe fancied at club level but they got that GID gene at international level.
