I remember the day I bought this game used and the next day visited a dear friend of mine who I sadly haven't been able to talk to very much since that year save for one or two times. She's also very much into pokemon haha. I still like to pick up my DS and work with my pokemon from that save when I can:)

Vasili Uzumaki I agree. HeartGold was the first mainstream Pokemon game I ever owned (my first Pokemon game was Ranger: Shadows of Almia) and beat (although I used Action Replay to beat Lance and onward). I still remember talking to my following Pokemon and having it hug me a whole bunch :-)
