All those poscas, so jelly! I definitely prefer using them to add detail, because of the way just work over most things. It is a bit of a pain colouring in big sections with them. THOUGH I think your piece has such character/nice textures and I think it works really well. Yes buy more! :D

I’ve been thinking about buying Posca’s as well. The mixed media artists I watch use them for detail work over every medium/surface imaginable. I had no idea they came in so many colors. I love the colors you used on the mushroom illustration - very nice! May I suggest contacting the store to see if they will replace the blue markers that don’t work well? If they won’t replace, I’d suggest contacting the manufacturer. I would think they’d be happy to replace your defective markers. Thanks for another fun video.

eyyyy it's all good, I just started playing with Posca pens this month because I took a vacation in a city that sold them 🖌 So far I've used them on little 2.5"x3.5" canvases & Yupo paper, they've been lovely! also nice because the paint doesn't soak into canvas/plastic like it does on paper, so you can both put down paint & move wet paint around a bit into smooth blocks of color

Hi Casey.. I bought poscas a few months ago and find them very versatile. I get water colour effects by wetting the paper first and then feathering with the nib. I also bought the 15.0mm pens and they are beautifully pigmented and flow well(and cover quickly). I work the posca pens on canvas as well. Have you tried the liquitex paint markers? I find their transparent colours beautiful to glaze and scummble with...I really like the poscas opaque quality.
