Would make a neat addition, although I'd say most narcotic metal releases fall much more under the DSBM or general black metal umbrella than post-punk, with post-punk usually being more of an influence

Bit of a narrow definition of post punk , focusing on the doom laden goth adjacent end of things. Post punk was far wider than that - Gang of Four (punk-funk being one post punk subgenre overlooked here) , Wire, PIL, Pop Group , Raincoats, Scritti Politti etc. Joy Division were massively important but only one strand of post punk.

That’s not a post punk genre

@@phantom_wolf5274eh, it kinda is but I see what you mean. It's post-punk adjacent. Kinda how it's adjacent to dreampop

As much a.s I like punk, hardcore, post hardcore and grind core, post punk and it's associated subgenres were nothing I could get into

Then you have bad taste. But to each their own. Post-hardcore can sound like post punk. There’s a lot of post punk that sounds like post-hardcore and vice versa.

@Dieafreak honestly the more I listened to post punk the more I got into it. I always associated it with poppy music, I never knew most skinhead bands would be classified as post-punk. I always associated it with New Wave witch is what I really can't get into aside from a few bands.
