I've been returning to this video almost every week, sometimes multiple times a week, as I've become more active in my running practice. It's very helpful! Also great for after a hike!

I'm an older guy who does Ironman triathlons and this yin yoga practice is fabulous for post-runs and also bike rides! Runs are more fluid and enjoyable after I started this practice and I have fewer injuries. Thanks!

That's great to hear! I know that several of my local yoga clients enjoyed their sports more and often did Yin to prevent injuries and keep themselves flexible. Thank you for sharing and letting me know how this works.

Thanks! Thumbnails are a very small aspect of how videos are discovered on KZbin unfortunately. It is much more about how the algorithm feeds content and picks it up which doesn't take things like thumbnail or search words into effect. Just a question though - what do you think would make a better thumbnail?

@@YogaRangerStudio honestly I've watched the video about 15 times so it wasn't a disrespect on your work at all:) if you look at a thumbnail on your phone, in the KZbin studio app, see what you can see. If it doesn't "stick out" to you (for instance I can't see the text as I look at it on my phone now) maybe play around with it until it does...fewer, bolder/bigger words perhaps? "POST RUN YOGA" or something haha you can choose:) I use Canva (I'm rarely active on this channel anymore) for my new KZbin channel and Canva is worth its weight in gold. I think I paid for the premium version for a year but they have so many templates that it's easy to get ideas:)

Another option is you could essentially do this video again…maybe a slightly different version but whatever you think is best for post run recovery, and because it’s a new video (with new thumbnail etc) the algorithm might recommend it more and it could gain traction:) thanks again!

I've not run for a long time and today was the day, doing these post run stretches is the best I've found, coming back time and time again ❤.... this time its post breast cancer surgery and I'm sure will be as enjoyable 🙏👟🏃‍♀️💨💜🫶

LOVE this video. I've done it a few times before, will continue to do this after my runs. Today I set a goal to run 7 miles which I knew was going to be challenging but I got a little lost and ended up going a little more than 8 miles. I stretched a little bit before I got in the car to drive home but the drive locked everything up. This worked it all out!! Thank you!

Hi, Aprille, longtime viewer, first-time commenter! I *adore* this one after I've been sitting for too long! Hip flexor ouchies! The move with the block under your hips with one leg extended is HEAV. EN. LY. The only thing I wish it had was calf-smashing, but I can take care of that easily enough.

I love that you mentioned the calf smashing as that is one of my favorite things for calf tightness! Sometimes it is SO hard to decide what to put in and what to leave out in a class : ) So glad you enjoyed this practice and I am with you - the hip flexor extension on the block feels SO VERY good to me too! I found this searching for a post-run yin yoga video after my cold four mile run tonight. Mind blown with the block under the sacrum. That is now my new favorite hip flexor stretch! I've book-marked this for future runs!
