Follow along with me in a progression of gentle stretches that targets major muscles groups, perfect to do after a workout or sports activity. The stretches include a combination of static holds and flowing movements that focus on the following muscles: quadriceps, hamstrings, back, and shoulders. I incorporate breathwork to promote relaxation and deeper stretches.
Stretching after a workout offers several benefits that includes whole body flexibility and mobility, improved circulation, and reduced risk of injury. It can promote relaxation and reduce stress by calming the body and mind after physical activity.
