I said this before...I’m a bigtime Longhorn fan and I agree the Arkansas fan does deserve better. You guys take no backseat to any program as far as fan loyalty in your state. None. You might not have as many people but I would almost guarantee the percentage of people in your state that are Ark Razorback fans, might be one of the top fan bases when measured that way. This was a perfect trap game and when you take the field and don’t realize your in a game until the 3rd qtr, you let teams like this beat you who come in motivated from snap-1 to beat a team I’m sure when they watched on film felt like they could expose their weaknesses. Starkel was off today. Not sure what his issues were but his accuracy was not good and his game management of moving the sticks and getting Ark in scoring situations was not good as well. I think he will play much better next game. I said this when we got Strong and the first day we got him but that he wouldn’t be around for when the team turned it around and Morris is the same. He will do some good things and I think eventually he will actually do much better than Strong but when it’s really time to be good to great he will be long gone. Right now Ark has too many players that aren’t a fit for Morris type of team. Just look at SMU beating TCU...that’s basically a Morris team right there. The only issue I see there once Morris continues to get the roster that he wants, by the time the next change comes will Ark change culture again to a more standard SEC type of team as far as personnel is concerned. If that’s the case it could take longer time to turn around but just saying that makes me think the next coach will be someone along the same lines as Morris. Could Leach work at Arkansas? He’s got the WashSt team playing hard on defense while still being explosive offensively. Or will it be the hottest up and coming name where Ark has to empty the bank to pay? Just don’t do like aTm and hire a has-been like Fisher who people in Tallahassee were all happy to see leave. Fisher left that FSU program a mess too. Anyways, it will get better but just still might be a year or 2 away still to be a consistent winning type football team.

johnedillinger Frank Broyles did a close version of that after the Citadel game with Jack Crowe. Broyles walked to his car after the game & didn't say thing to anyone that was asking him questions nor acknowledged anyone that exchanged a hello or pleasantry with him, needless to say he was pissed. I said that Morris' choice of Chavis was bad decision from day 1. Chavis had poor defenses at A&M and in his final coaching game at A&M they gave up over 50 points in a loss in the bowl game. I had same feeling as with John L. Smith with his previous records at Mich State.

Jim Mears I couldn’t agree more-Chavis’ defense at LSU was only great bc Les Miles recruited HEAVILY on defense, essentially left Chavis gift after gift. When Chavis went to A&M, he never had a great defense. Sure he had a star on D once or twice, but overall A&M’s defenses were awful under Chavis’ tenure. Anyway, i hear Bobby P isn’t doing anything these days.....

I'm glad there's someone here that is talking sense and being straight up honest about the situation. Sunshine pumpers are stupid. We could lose to lower division teams like UAPB or Arkansas Tech by a margin of 30 points and these guys would still cry "We're a young team!" or "We're rebuilding. Give it time!" What are the boundaries when it comes to these types of excuses? Yeah I know we're a young rebuilding team and that's always a disadvantage, but people need to take their foot off the excuses gas pedal just a bit. Even with a young rebuilding team, there's still a certain level of expectations. This football program is dead as a doornail and it will be another 5-7 years at the very least before this fanbase has the level of excitement they had when BP was here.

I have decided to relive the 1998 season. I have all the games on VHS tape and really good VCR. I will play those games instead of watching this horrible mess. I am done with this team until there are some changes made. I quit this team last year after the Colorado State game and quitting now and just waiting for basketball and baseball. Ever since Frank and Houston left the "HILL", we have slowly been going down the toilet. This is not Razorback football. I am seeing unorganized chaos on the sidelines and on the field along with some undisciplined players. Very frustrating, indeed. All I have to say, for now, is I still have faith in coach Morris. I think this is a rock-bottom moment for him, in his time here. Its fucking insane, chad is a coordinator not a college head coach, chavjs was hired because chad does t know defense and doesnt want to touch the defense and craddock is young enough where chad can run the offense through him and throw him under the bus it's awful chad is an amazing recruiter but not a head coach man it makes me want to freaking cry

I’m not sure how Arkansas ever gets another legitimate coach. No matter how much money you throw at the situation. Bret was lauded as one of the best in the country by ESPN, other coaches etc. and he was an utter disaster at Arkansas. No coach will come here to take the chance of destroying their career. These guys expect to coach til they are 70 yrs old and will not chance that on a program where coaches go to die. I don’t know where we go from here. Honestly, I feel that you have to ride this coach for several more years and give him all the resources available to help him be a success. If we keep firing coaches we will always be in a “rebuilding” scenario which is not where you want to be. This staff has shown they can recruit talent and that is why Bama wins consistently is talent. You can’t win in this league with 3-stars and walk-ons. Just have to hold our nose and bear it for a little longer. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't know what I would do if I was the Athletic director, fire the coach and lose all the recruits? I'm not a fan of Morris but I feel like he has a young team and it will take 3 to 4 years for us to get to a winning record. This sucks, we will probably lose our televised games unless we are playing bama, LSU, or Auburn. This one is hard to swallow!
