Thanks for telling us about your journey. I also graduated in May and it’s been real rough, especially when it comes to applying for jobs. Been struggling to find one and the rejections have been affecting me. But watching this video makes me know I’m not alone.

Margaret I’m glad this was helpful. I definitely got a crap ton of no’s before getting my job. It’s definitely a numbers game out here, but keep going. There’s a job out there that needs you, you just have to make them aware that they need you.

I'm glad you can relate. I don't think enough people talk about it, so we graduate with unrealistic expectations. It sucks but things get better.

I just graduated in December and I’ve just been working my crappy retail job. My downhill spiral started with not get honors at graduation due to a residency requirement I wasn’t told about until the day of graduation. That put me in a crap mood, but it has been compounded by not liking the field I got a degree in and also not feeling good enough at it to do anything (especially since I haven’t found a job that wants me). Needless to say, I need to get some change in my life, but I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling how I do.

Tianna Breyare Cibert You’re definitely note the only one. I’m also in a job that I don’t find fulfilling (trying to put it nicely because...ya know). I’ve been reading tons of articles on job hunting for recent graduates and it seems to be a common trend that no one is satisfied with where they’re at. The workforce isn’t ready for us.

Tamara D. I suppose not. Maybe some of these old fogies will retire and make some room for us 😂
