After two and a half years with your gymnastics I am now noticing significant improvements. I had a stroke in the right thalamus and my left side was severely affected. Now I have days when I feel almost nothing from the ictus. However, I must not neglect your exercises for a single day, because that punishes my body with sensitive regression. Anyway, thanks for your competent help.

Another great one. Can't wait to try tomorrow. Because of what u do I have been able to restart my catering business again. I'm only 3 years into my recovery UT I've gone from left side paralysis to baking and cooking again. God bless u and yours. Much appreciation 😊

Thank you again, going to try these tomorrow, although I cannot flex my left ankle very well…see how it goes. The knee bend is also a challenge, since I have a stiff left leg, due to spasticity. Blessings from Holland.

Been following you since the CVA in march, the doctor's told me that I was paralyzed and I would never walk again, my answer, I am walking out of here Friday and I'm taking your Walker with me, that's been four months ago, up to using just the cane now. On Shakey days I break out the Walker, Because I am just too stubborn to accept this stroke thingy, oh yeah, i was on KZbin watching some old 1960s television programs. Was watching the Adams family, and during the opening theme song, my left hand the one that i have to think about using, on its own not thinking about it snapped its fingers. Its one of those surprising little victories.

Make sure to reach out to a doctor or therapist if you need help finding the right level of exercise for you. You may need to modify the movement, the number of repetitions, or the length of the workout to make it more doable for you. Everyone starts somewhere different!

Thank you so much for sharing the above video. Very helpful indeed . However I am not able raise my left leg ( from my knee ) please suggest what can be done. Thank you so much ❤❤

Thank you for your kind words. You may want to start with sitting leg exercises first if standing and lifting your leg from the knee is difficult. Something like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4q5nmWOfJV3Z6s If you still have access to therapy, ask your therapist about exercises that are appropriate for your specific situation!

Great question! Some of these may be more difficult to do in bed but I have two specific leg strengthening workout videos that are meant to be done in bed that you may find helpful! Let me know 😊 Strengthen Legs After Stroke: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6SrkoyDndWlqNE Get Stronger Legs in Bed: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqmbiIFvrrxseKs
