I miss Fritos! Thank you Dr Berg! I would like to request a video about how to handle taking supplements while fasting. I often do every other day fasting or 2 to 3 day fasts. I take quite a few daily supplements and I think most need to be taken with food. Can you please address this question? Thank you so much!

He is a fantastic teacher and human . Has done great work. Even if he did not mention his mistakes in youth he would be a great teacher. But he probably has to cuz he knows loosers also have low esteem and are too insecure to learn from great men . Loosers hang with loosers for a reason , making the same blunders in their comfort zone with each other .

Several years ago when I was first diagnosed as a T2D(before my knowledge of Keto) I learned early on the proper way to track my glucose levels after a meal. I found that I could eat chips(corn) and salsa, a large Mich Ultra beer and chicken wings and my blood glucose would barely go up at all. So for me, glucose wise, my body handled corn chips fairly well. Of course once I became aware of nutritional Keto I cut out the bad stuff.

@dimples I had a friend recommend Berg's book. I read it over a weekend and then researched for 2 weeks including his and other videos. Jumped all in. I had been diagnosed with chronic fatigue. Within 4 days, my energy started spiking. I've had numerous other benefits that I never expected and lost 70 pounds in the first 8 months. To put it in perspective, I HATE doing dishes and hubby did them for 9 years. He was also the cleaner at home. I called him my house husband. I now have so much energy that I am the one doing dishes and the cleaning. Went from a size 20 to a current size 10, still losing. Alarm goes off and I am fully awake in 30 seconds where it used to take 1/2 hour and coffee. Focus is phenomenal and where I couldn't remember what I had for dinner last night, I remember the smallest things and no longer make lists to remind myself.

They do. I only buy organic or non gmo chips/corn chips only that uses no “natural” flavors and fairly to 💯 clean ingredients. I get mine from Aldi, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, & thrive market.

Best is to make homemade potato chips with coconut oil, tallow, duck fat, etc. And himalayan rock salt. If you eat them at all.

They are of course not keto but you can buy organic thick cut potato chips with only 3 ingredients: organic potatoes sea salt & olive oil.

Thanks Doc, as always another insightful vid. Please can you do one on why you believe GMOs are bad? I ask because it's really confusing and there's a tonne of debate about GMO. What is your opinion on the matter?

What would you recommend doc for a substitute for chips

Pork rinds

If you're trying to stay clean keto I think most people would recommend pork rinds. Personally my favorite substitute is air fried chicken skins, though they're not easy to find. A little less clean keto is Quest tortilla chips.

I'd like to know what your thoughts are, in these new chips being made from peas? What about everyone else too? Does anyone think they are a better alternative?

Corn chips by far! Nachos ❤️ but I do try to buy non GMO/organic. Siete makes a good alternative to tortilla corn chips made with avocado oil, but they are like $6 a bag 😕

Surely corn is worse because of GMO? In the UK potato chips or "crisps" as well call them are sliced and fried flavoured potatoes. Corn is the classic example food to use when talking about GMO

Aren't they both GMO though? Neither are edible in the wild, nature. I don't think corn even exists in nature and wild potatoes can kill you.

Is there a chance you could do a video series advising how to put on weight, slow your metabolic rate and stuff. As someone that’s always struggled with putting on weight I think it’s something that could be addressed

Thanks for the video. Wondering if Coconut Oil is healthy like many doctors say it is?… We love buying the Organic Bob’s Res Mill Corn Masa, which is also NON-GMO, but thinking if this should be removed when doing Intermittent fasting?
