The fact that the sub was second on the team shows how terrible sub economy is. WeeGee heavily nerfs bb and cv economy, and look where it all went. You do practically nothing but survive all game, not even taking a cap, and still get rewarded better on a loss than half the enemy team. Subs are bullshit and should never have been added.

This is most frustating in ranked games now. When I did really good job on a DD, on lost game, sub just stayed alive for 20 min doing nothing and he outscored me, thus loosing me my star.

very nice game, only thing missing was 500+ secondary hits.. Always so satisfying seeing those numbers continually tick when playing the german ships

i would have been incredibly tilted from watching this sub lose this game on purpose, probably would rage quit after this. It hurts to watch. Players like this should be banned from tier 10

I run the range MOD and have a lot of fun that way. Those 481s drop into citadels at those ranges all the time for me.

At first it sounds shocking that someone could've gotten to tier 10 and not know how to play the game. And then you clarify that it was a sub player (even if you've never played the game, pretty sure you'd wonder the moment you went into the cap and it didn't start flipping whether you needed to be surfaced). Good work again WG.

My top damage in her was 408k in a standard battle. 10 cits. When her guns hit, they hit VERY hard and 32mm overmatch is fun on a German BB.

She most definitely is! Downsides: - Her big super structure that can be farmed on - she is massive so that makes her a big target - Steers like a brick (realistic though considering her size) But the plus sides: - over matching guns that reload fast (can be brought down to 24 sec with reload mod!) - Very well armoured - German Hydro - Very forgiving combat instructions! In most super ships the combat instructions tend to rapidly drain quick if you haven't fired in a while, Hannover though goes easily up, and goes very slowly down. - her secondaries shred every ship in pieces! Once you activate her instructions not only do they fire faster, but also got a longer range (if you give her a secondary focused build, they can reach over 13km!) And i highly recommend you placing Günther Lutjens on her, because combined with his secondary fire power talent that triggers once you reached 100 secondary hits (which is quite easy to reach once you are in secondary range) and the combat instructions of Hannover, her secondaries will fire like 128m machine guns that will rip and tear everyone apart!

You will make the red teams very happy, she is such a great ship to farm damage off. You should also have a really comfortable pile of credits because buying Hannover and all her modules will cost you around 60-65Million credits and unless you can afford to play her every time with blue credit boosters you will lose credits every battle even if you perform well. Today we had an enemy team in Clan Battles who played the Hannover, she went from full life to 0 in not even 2 minutes.

I've been struggling a lot with my dm nowadays, should I be playing range mod instead of reload? I don't have the legendary mod. I think in most cases range mod would make my life easier, enabling me to play some long range spam to bbs while kiting, any thoughts?

Just a comment and a question: Why bother with Concealment? It still is visible from orbit... Better use that for better upgrades maybe?

German battleships as a whole would feel a lot better to play if, to compensate for the insanely farmable super structure and broadside you have to show to shoot all guns, you'd get at least the improved US heal to be a bit more survivable. Not the stupid super heal of UK that prints you a new ship, just a bit stronger and longer heal on shorter CD like improved US heal.

Like PQ said, positives are better firing angles and bigger guns so you overmatch a lot. And from time to time, some idiot manages to come into your secondary range, so you get to press the funny button to melt him. That being said, negatives are that you still have german BB accuracy which isnt the best (to put it politely) and you are a much bigger HP pinata than GK or Preussen for enemy team to farm (usually being spoted first doesnt help at all). You are also a favourite target for enemy CVs cause you are so damn big and your AA suck.

As a person who has mastered the submarine game play. You are correct the best strategy is to avoid the open water. As a submarine play it is not like most ships that need to avoid open water. This is where the submarine best operates. Submarine needs to be on the flanks in open water, it needs to target ships turning out. It's torpedoes do little damage to bows, it does more damage to stern shots and side shots. All submarines do less damage than their DD counter parts. Everyone's ASW planes now out range your torpedoes. So you have to use the ping more sparingly. A side that plays together can kill a submarine very quickly. A submarine that plays solo will die fast. It's best capability is to spot.

I am posting this so people don't just range on a submarine without playing the class. It has its strengths and a lot of weaknesses to. Unlike carriers which have very little weaknesses.

Many players ignore mission objectives and shoot their guns like they were popping guns at a carnival. Perhaps Wargaming should get rid of the caps altogether. No, wait! Then the teams would move even further away from each other, making this an even worse kind of sniping game. I guess really the only solution is to educate players about the importance of match missions.

@@Mortifix I’m still learning and I’m not sure how to play this tier 10. So far the line isn’t that bad but I’ve seen PQ recommending it a lot but not really made a guide on how to play the line. Yes there are videos on KZbin but i would like it if PQ gave his thoughts because I always see him promoting the Worcester.

@@ishaanthadani7100 Well to be fair he hasn't recommended it in a while because it's kind of outclassed by many other ships at this point, but the best thing to do is play it safe until mid to late game where you can really shine. Priority 1 is finding a nice island you can sit behind and HE spam without getting dev struck or bribe a DD to smoke for you. If you try to open water (which you probably shouldn't because lots of ships overmatch it now) then you will have to just dodge and kite the whole time. Your primary targets will always be DD's because the Worcester melts DDs (and most other ships for that matter).

btw, all the bullshit that WG has been shoving down our throats made me try out WarThunder naval battles. Surprisingly been a lot more fun than WoWS recently.
