Yes you can start it any day. I say mine first thing in the morning. Otherwise the day can get away from you and you might forget. It’s no fun getting all tucked in for the night and remembering “Oh my gosh I forgot” Now that’s a sacrifice. It’s a beautiful prayer. Your praying not only for yourself but for your family and the whole world. God bless you 🙏🏻

You ladies are marvelous to promote St. Bridget! I am praying it quite regularly discovering, that by the time I die, I may save by the blood of most blessed Jesus and my bit of sacrifice nearly 1200 souls and at least 9 family relatives, independent whether they are zealous or cold Christians. Being a doctor of medicine, I am praying 12 years St. Bridget on exercise bike, that will give me at least some physical sufferings. The problem is consistent regularity, but you gave me a new impulse. God bless!

I chose that middle name as my confirmation name 50 years ago. Didn't know anything about either of these saints at that time. How lucky can one person be? I have been praying this novena for nearly six years now. I am amazed that you can remember all the prayers without having to look them up! I can usually remember the first three but then I just have to refer to my prayer sheet. A very devout Italian friend of mine told me about these prayers many years ago and I started to pray them, but then stopped after a few months. Then I started thinking that not continuing for the whole time was really silly so I re-started from the beginning and am continuing still. The Italian lady who introduced me to the novena told another friend a few weeks before her death that she would be dying in about a month. The friend didn't really believe it and when around a month had passed by, rang her and said 'see, a month has gone and you are still here'. My Italian friend said it would be only a few days from then. Nobody heard from her for a few days and when her friend called in to see her, she found her dead. God always keeps His promises and any promises made by Our Lady come from God. I have spent long periods in hospitals over the past few years but usually manage to keep up with the Novena and it hasn't been too difficult to catch up with any days that may have been missed. I recommend this Novena to anyone. It brings remarkable blessings to all.

Part of me wants to pray for me and a relationship with Jesus . I have dBbled in drugs, promiscuity, selfishness... it breKs my heart but i am a mess inside. Very good show! This is my third time watching it. I always pick up things that I've missed on previous showings. But I heard you say that if we had something to talk about, you'd pray about it and to see if there's a real need to do a show about it. Can you do a show on Residential Catholic schools? No one seems to want to do a show on it. It's like it's hushed up and kicked under the carpet. I'm Catholic and Native American. My parents and great grandparents went to residential schools. They weren't abused but many others had been. My son went to Sunday church with me on Sundays. Last summer, out of the blue, when they found all those bodies up here in Canada, that he didn't know if he's still Catholic anymore because of that specifically and stopped going to Church. I don't believe it's the Catholic Churches fault. It just takes one person to be corrupt inside of it but then its the Church's fault, not the individual. So would you do a show? I think it would help me son immensely. God bless!

Another great show! Thank you! I do have a suggestion for a show. A show on when you marry someone who isn't Catholic and the struggles when you have children and raise them Catholic and your spouse stays home and doesn't practice with you. When you want to do nfp and your husband argues with you about not using birth control. What prayers can you say for help? What prayers can you say to bless your home? Suggest to someone who wants to marry someone outside the Faith how they are going to struggle with these issues and others such as the spouse signing a paper before getting married agreeing to raising the kids Catholic and now they regret it, birth control, just arguing in general about differences in faith like confession, purgatory, priests being celebate. I've even had arguments with my in-laws about these issues. I know it's brought up in marriage classes with the priest before getting married but it doesn't really sink in because at that moment you think you're so in love that those things don't matter until you have kids. Then when kids come along you are sitting in the pew with them as a single parent. You are answering questions like "dad doesn't go to church why do we have to?" Or even if you don't have kids you are sitting in the pew alone and looking at the couples around you and you get sad. I sit here and wonder if this is the person who God intended me to marry? I struggle with this alot lately. I've been married for 26 years now -this is painful. If you don't have a show on this could you please make suggestions to help me? I've already read books on st Monica but those had to do more with her children. Thank you 🙏

Some aspects of the catechism feel nearly impossible to follow in our modern world, with broken down families, divorce, unforgiveness, etc. In the coming years, I suspect this will change...but the idea of being fully chaste until the Era feels like a very steep challenge for a man of my age. Thanks again & God bless.

Would it be St Bridget who said that the merit of one mass we attended when we are alive will be more beneficial than masses offered after our death. I heard this several times in different talks i have attended but never got the name if the saint who said this . Thank you

I want to cry! I have been praying to Saint Bridget four more years than I can remember. I have done the one year novenas two different times in my life; once when I had small children and one when they were older it was a challenge and like the one you’re talking about if I did miss one and there weren’t many, I did them twice the next day. The graces are many.but, I never knew about this 12 year one! I want a copy of this please. So how do I get it? I know God is calling me to it because I’m not a silent sufferer and I want to be... so badly for him and for reparations sinners.

@ Christine @Christine Thank you for spreading the Bridget prayers. But I would like to kindly ask you to correct one mistake in the sixth prayer which for decades has been spread in nearly all the books on Saint Bridget and every book where this prayer is reprinted, because every author is copying it from the other. In the passage „…. for the Holy Father’s intentions toward the restoration of Christian families…“ the English translation of the original text is wrong and thus takes on a whole new meaning. The original Latin text says, translated into English: „…for the Holy Father’s intentions, for the restoration of Christian families…. “ Unfortunately decades ago the comma after „Holy Father’s intentions“ was accidentally omitted, and this led translators in several languages to the misunderstanding that this passage does not include two separate prayer intentions (for the Holy Father’s intentions and for the restoration of Christian families) but only one and thus interpreting the Holy Father’s intentions must be on the restoration of Christian families (which is not meant in the original text. As every Catholic knows the Holy Father asks for our prayers for a different specific intention each month). Due to this misunderstanding in the English translation the word „towards…“ was inserted which does not occur and is not meant in the original text. Please do some research on this; you can ask any theologian to translate the Latin original correctly to you. I really wonder how and why all the authors in so many languages just seem to copy and paste this prayer text without noticing that error or trying to study the original. I come from Germany and there is a German prayer book and a website where this is set right. It can be found on this link: kath-zdw.ch/maria/7vaterunser.html

I love your videos.. thank you!!!! Around min 30 you talk about anticonconceptives. I never took them, but the doctor prescribed me them to help my hormones (I’m a woman born in the early 80s) ..I don’t want to take that , it’s bad for my body but it’s difficult to find a medicine here in Canada , to help boost the hormones. Every morning I take the pill and tell Virgin Mary: I choose life, please make me fertile, I would like to be a mother, please heal my body. Please girls, make a video about this: Fertility, faith, medicines offered (and the dead culture of anticoception in actual medical prescription) I’m a prolife, God bless you both (If anyone can help me with a natural hormone, so I don’t have to take those evil anticonception pills 💊!?

I do believe that you can help your hormone balance through a healthy diet ... I went through terrible pms and pain as a younger woman. I didn't realise it was linked to a very poor diet .. I read a book called " beat pms through diet " and started eating whole food plant based. Think the Daniel diet 😉 ...even God gave nutritional advice ... Anyway I improved dramatically ! ..

@@jojackson1573 thank you so much for your reply. I eat very well , healthy: no snacks, sodas, alcohol , no drugs or cigarettes... Maybe it’s because I’m living in a different country , it was my first winter (Canada) and a lot of stress (changes)... I’m still taking those pills, I feel bad because they have secondary effects in the long term and it’s a pill that doesn’t please God. You’re very nice! Thank you 😊 and blessings to you

Are the promises accepted by the church? I cannot find any Imprimatur for St Bridget's 12 year novena and/or promises.

I have read that the church has approved the prayers but not the Promises. I still choose to believe the Promises as I can’t see why St Bridget would make them up.

The number of blows refers to the prayers for the one year not the number of,prayers for the 12 years. I’ve done the one year prayers and am considering this 12 year novena. How do we determine if we do the one year or 12 year? Please tell me how you decided. Thank you

Thank you for this interesting and enlightening episode. I doubt this would make an episode but it’s a question I have about marriage. Why is it that a couple who can’t conceive isn’t supposed to marry? I remember specifically the way it was put to me is if a woman can’t have a baby, she isn’t supposed to marry. I have a hard time understanding that.
