I'd watch more of the "Did You Game, Knowing" the series. This is the best one yet from you; a lot of fast paced jokes in succession, the re-interpretation of the story is so good, and the editing is very involved. I loved Mega Man 7 growing up! This and Mega Man 8....even though I never actually beat MM8 (got stuck in the first Wily Stage and never beat it).

As weird as it was the way Capcom presented it, I kinda like the American version of 7's ending but also the context of the original Japanese ending where Rock was silently charging his buster. Since I always headcannon that when Dr Light learns of Rock almost breaking one of if not THE most important law of robotics, that's what made Dr Light put X into a 30 year (initially) long sleep to test his morals before he could be released into the world along with feeling the world wasn't ready for X yet. The American version of the ending just made it a bit more...edgy and cheesy honestly lmao

I literally just beat MM7 yesterday (no thanks to that goddamn final boss) but I gotta say... Mega Man 7's ending is probably my favourite. The music is the best, and the fact that Mega Man walks away from the explosion instead of teleporting away really sells the fact that Mega Man is pissed! Amazing video as always. You had me at the thumbnail, especially since I used to call him Bass (as the fish) as a kid. Been excited for this one, let's goooooo! The screen crunch took a bit of getting used to when I went to replay it recently, but the game still holds up. I have noticed they'd taken a lot of ideas from prior Mega Man games, let alone MMX. I'm mixed about weapon weaknesses locking down robot masters -- some fights like Freeze Man are brutal without them. And the secret Ghosts n' Goblins theme in Shade Man's stage is my favorite version of that song, like, anywhere. I also never knew how many secrets this game had, heh.

honestly, i like the idea behind the 4 robot master split, help the game to had a better difficulty balance and better stage design (wich was mastered in megaman and bass) Previuos megaman games has the flaw of having a total mess of stage design, like heat man stage, totally unplayable without weapon 2 as always, good video

Burst man is my favorite robot master from this game. He's actually based on a bubble blowing toy, and was originally stationed at the chemical plant as a security guard before Wily kidnapped him and added the bombs in for combat utility. Given that his weapon is called danger wrap, and it uas the ability to trap enemies inside bubbles. I like to think it was designed as a harmless and ethical way to capture both human and robotic intruders before Wily added in the explosives
