Hay everyone, It has been sometime. I did a short trail down a Power Line road near Skull Valley. Nothing technical but the climbs where enough to leave it in 4Low to keep the speeds down. Hope you enjoy.

I have a 05 2wd Escape that I think resembles the Pathfinder. They even both have flip up glass hatches in back.

I have one too. With my three kids and wife it’s nice to fit the grandparents as well and off-road at the beach or trails. I’m from central Washington but love going to the Oregon coast.

Lucio Rob, you know the pain of finding a vehicle that will fit the family then too. And the fold down seats are nice when family is out. I really want to make a trip up the coast all the way to Washington hitting trails on the way. I have family in Grants Pass Oregon, I spent a week with them years back and my cousin took me riding in the dunes on the beach.

Like your videos. I have the same exact vehicle but 2007, same color & all! I also tow a camper regularly. I hope to do the same lift you did eventually, it looks very nice! What wheels are you running and where did you get them?
@algeradventures48914 жыл бұрын
F4i Chris, Thank you, thats awesome and i love this color. The pathfinder 4.0 has plenty of power for towing and other than the soft rear springs it handles it great. Im running ProComp Series 89 and i got them from Amazon

Looking at getting 2012 but need to tow a 2500lb pop up with 250lb tongue weight. Can it do it without being squatted down too much? Your hybrid camper has to weigh more then that? I'm thinking putting some of the hea y duty 1.5 inch lift coils in the back. Or do you think the air bags are enough?

What do you think is the largest tire you could fit without rubbing on stock ride height? I am in Florida where is it very flat so not much need for a lift for me but would like more aggressive tread for the beach sand and camping adventures.
@algeradventures48914 жыл бұрын
Bradley G, I think that most people are running a 31" x 10.50" without any problems, its only 1" bigger than stock but it can help and you don't have to worry about rubbing .

I have 265/75/r16 m/t on mine. Comes out to 31.6 inch and only had to heat gun one side for minor rub while at full turn. Then got a 2 inch leveling kit and did it myself.

Just purchased an 05 and I’m looking to lift it to get a little more clearance. How much of a lift do you have on yours? I’m not wanting to go too crazy. I was thinking just a 2” or 3”...
