had this pc, it survive 5 months before something went badly wrong with the included 3060, no matter what was attempted it wasnt able to be repaired. It had some serious heating problems aswell, had to send it back on warranty which wasnt the best experience

When I bought my HP PAVILLION TG01 in November 2020, it came with a very simple graphics card from HP itself, an RTX 2060 SUPER that had a more compact size and a single fan, but that was enough. That ACER graphic reminded me a little of a box that came as protection for some slippers that my grandmother bought at WALLMART ONCE. Also, I followed your advice from 2 years ago and it allowed me to build a new PC with an RX 7800 XT from the ASUS TUF GAMING line, in fact all the PC and components are from ASUS TUF GAMING with the exception of storage such as the HDD SSD AND NVME 2.0 AND and its dicipator which is a COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 HALO BLACK.

Hello there. Love this video. I am totally blind and so I appreciate you describing the inside and outside of this PC. I was blessed with a Nitro N50-656 Desktop because my old ten year old Dell Desktop bit the dust. I do want to transfer my two 3.5 inch hard drives in to the new desktop to use as storage devices. I've noticed that the PC came with two sata cables, and a sata power cable with the two plugs. But when I went to open up the PC to insert the power cable, I could not find where to plug it in. I noticed that there was a small tiny plug hanging down from the power supply, and so I figured you would connect the sata power cable and then connect the two plugs on the sata power cable to power the hard drives. However, the plug hanging at the end of the power supply is two small to connect to the sata power cable. Do I need a special adapter or am I miss understanding where to connect the sata power cable. And my other question is, Where are the two sata ports? are they on the top right above the hard drive bays? Or are they on the bottom right on the Motherboard? And are they labeled sata 1 and sata 2 going from left to right, or right to left? And also, I noticed a bunch of wires rapped up vertically by some clip or what not. Now if this helps any, my point of view on the PC is facing the side panel and I slide it left toward the back of the PC. And the Hard Drive Bays are off to the far right, while the graphic card and power supply are on the far left. I know this is a lot of questions, but I would be grateful for any help that you or anyone on here can provide me with.

the sata power cable in gonna be in that bundle of wires connected to power supply if there is not a sata power cable in the power supply you will need a molex to sata power cable

@@Kramptonyte OK. That makes sense. With that said, a friend of mine did come over and helped me. it turns out that the power cable and the two data cables are connected into the motherboard. When you look at the top right corner of the motherboard from left to right in that spot, it is the power cable, then data one, and data too. but all three of them are on the top right corner of the motherboard, closer to the storage bays. That makes sense. I’m glad he came so that he could spot that. Both hard drives are in now, and everything is working beautifully. Now to get up to 32 gigs of RAM at some point, and to install a fan at the underside of the top of the case. I wish I could find a fan that would sound like those little remote control helicopters. Or those little remote control airplanes if you will. Maybe those helicopters. But it would have a red blade, a blue blade, a white blade, and a green blade. And they would light up as soon as the fan would kick on, and the light would turn off whenever the fan would kick off.

these are my acer nitro 50 specs: Intel core i5 - 13400F 1 TB SSD 16 GB RAM RTX 3050 8GB OEM i want to upgrade my gpu to an Acer Nitro Radeon RX 7700 XT and upgrade to 32GB DDR5 RAM, but I don't think the mobo could support either upgrade. can you tell me what the best mobo for this pc is, and if the gpu would even fit in the case?

@Javggoat I put in Cooler Master AIO 120, I cut the top out to mount radiator on top and fan on top of radiator set up as exhaust. Great temps, under heavy gaming haven't been over 130°F

Wait a minute. I have the nitro n50 640, wich i installed on a noctua cooler (nh-u9s), a i5 12600k and a rtx 4060ti gamingx from msi.. Turned out that the psu could't hold the power peaks while gaming, giving me some stuttering, eventually. I did my researches.. So, basically you just need to buy a better psu (600w atleast, 12v standby, single rail design) and a 24 to 6 pin adapter (from the COmeap brand, the ones used also for Dell desktop pc's). Swapped the psu 3 months ago and it's still working as it's meant to work. Also, you can try making a video about the psu swap, cause it's kinda easy to swap it and very few people knows it. Would be helpful to Lots of people tho.

@@connereatscookies2123 Same, that psu is probably the only thing really holding back this pc from being quite a champ for upgradability. 500w isnt enough for more modern graphics cards and sinse im looking into getting a 1440p card over the 4060 mine came with which struggles in a few games, thatd be a huge issue. The i5-13400f wont completely bottleneck some higher end 4070s and 7800xts so ill get cooling sorted as the stock fans let the stuff get way too warm for my likings, then maybe grab a new card. Cpu wise i might do the same as the OP, and i will definetally upgrade to 32gb ddr5 when i can. Honestly stock the things a beast still and thankfully i got the lad for a nice discount so its not a big scam at all. Cant wait to get the pc a nice makeover. I love the case design so thats definetally something ill try to keep for a while too

m3 screw 10 mm I believe. and the reason you need to do it is because Acer glues the backplate to the MB

Well you can get 1.2v cl 22 ram or 1.5v. Cl 16 I would look at Kingston are crucial. I also like kits in the disco of a lot of the videos

Sir I need ur help I have the acer nitro n50 pc it has a 1650 and i5 10400f and it is super laggy when I press windows it takes 1 minute to even pop up, can’t open any video game without having to drop to 1 fps which I am not over exaggerating it is very slow in video games and just in general but I don’t see anything wrong with it I have 900 gb free space when I open it up it looks good and I don’t know why it is so laggy I don’t even have any viruses can you please please help me ❤😢😊

Be cautious because this uses proprietary cables and can make upgrading certain things difficult. Including the PSU which will need an upgrade to upgrade most other hardware
