yes it reliable , 540s are going to be slower than m240s and 340s tho but 540s are a good pick

Great question. It essentially helps assist with additional fueling. Your injectors have a certain limit for the amount of fuel that they can spray into the combustion chamber, and adding PI effectively increases that limit by introducing 6 more injectors which will spray in more fuel. When you do that then you can increase your potential power output via tuning.
