Basics are very underrated as we progress. Gotta keep brushing up on the fundamentals and constantly practice them. I tend to do these even at a more intermediate level, gotta practice consistently to stay sharp.

I was taught to throw my straight punches as if i was reaching for a glass of water. It's amazing how people that I have sparred with never bring there feet with them . You can always tell the arm punch from the proper way. One huge thing JT showed was when you should throw the double jab that the second one should be your almost back to guard and don't be scared to twist your hips with your jab . that's how dudes get dropped from just a jab really it's throwing a power left hand. I am a Mixed martial artist I do have a tendency to be more in kind of philly shell or Karate stance and with the blitz style of karate . I have had boxing coaches try to fix it until now. my coach doesn't try to change my style but make it better and get rid of a lot of stuff that is the way of certain things. I am so thankful that i was born with that one hit k o power . Thanks for your time and content that has made me better at boxing to the point where I am teaching the little ones at the gym the core fundamentals of boxing. Before it was always power now it's more of touch and go and let that power shot develop with in the fight. It's always there you just have to set it up

hi Jason Jonn Gouzouassis here. Greek boxing fighte and followerr. Eventually, though this is the right way it all comes down to the momentum during the match. Mayweather always or most of the time has his back hand hanging and throws from there. Ryan Garcia, also i noticed loads up kinda telegraphing his crosses, but with enough speed to land them unoticed on the rival's body or face. It all depends on the momentum after all i wouldnt know, what you think. of my opinion. who has his hands guarded up all the rime after 10-12 rounds after all!!
@PrecisionBoxing3 жыл бұрын
Yes it depends on a number of factors at the high level. Speed, predictability and timing. If you're fast you can get away with breaking some rules.
