I’m 31, and recently I’ve been noticing a LOT more grey hairs, which is starting to affect my confidence and self esteem. I have a healthy balanced diet, I’m not vegetarian and as far as I know my iron levels are fine. I’ve been doing my ‘research’ and stumbled across Spirulina powder, which is very high in all the good stuff your hair needs - biotin, copper, antioxidants, proteins etc. I’ve been taking for a week now and have my fingers well and truly crossed it might make a difference.🤞🏻😢

I am not an expert, nor offering any kind of medical advice 🙏 however based on my understanding, once a hair has turned grey, it cannot be reversed...if you pluck it, for example, it will regrow grey again.

Hi, I am not Dr. V ,but I hope you won't mind my input. Yes, porosity type is an important factor in product use on hair. I myself am low porosity. To get low porosity hair cuticles to easily absorb products, it likes warm things,....warm water for washing and rinsing, warmed conditioners, warmed cleansers. Basicly anything cold on low porosity hair will cause it to close its cuticles and block absorption of things you are trying to infuse you hair with. And also if you are low porosity and use a lot of products aimed for high porosity hair you may develop protein overload as I did. Be watchful and hair safe. Good luck.

Hi Dr V, Thanks for this informative video. I need your suggestion on something else if you have the time. I have started using AmLactin 15% Lactic acid Intesnive Healing lotion for last one week, twice a day. This has made my KP worse. The number of bumps have increased on the areas applied and more on the back of my arm. Stinging is constant and I am not feeling very comfortable with it. I am not sure whether this is purging after exfoliation and this is how this lotion is supposed to work? or I am just allergic to it. Should I keep using it or just completely stop it? Hello Dr V, first of all can I just say thank you for all the content you put out, I really wish the dermatologist around us were just as considerate. ❤️ I have a query regarding my current skin issue, I had acne for a long time and couldn't really pay attention to it due to my studies and all the stress that entailed. Now I'm starting to take care of my skin, my current routine has salysilic acid in it, arbutin, niacinamide, retinol (alternate nights) and lactic acid (once a week). Though my skin has seen immense improvement in terms of inflammation, I still regularly get really huge white heads that are deep and sometimes painful too. What should I do regarding them in your opinion?
