LOL YEP someone is a da never uses lock leak on refrigeration. IF flare is gone someone over tightened the fitting . I keep the pre-made fitting in stock. LOL see people use plumbing tape another no no.

@@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH It is what we were taught at the crappy community college program I took in the late '80s and what I've been using since getting into this field 25 years after getting that degree. (Was making too much $ bartending back then to crawl in hot attics for minumum wage!) It has served me well for all the reach in coolers, freezer, and ice machines and small walk ins so far. Tackling a couple of much larger walk in freezer condenser swap outs in our off season, and spending some time practicing with oxy-acetylene on bigger pipe than I've ever done before. Old dog trying to stay amused and learn some new tricks! Thanks for all that you are sharing and taking the time to explain, film and edit.

Do they have that kind of tip for a b-tank using turbo torch? My company does not believe in oxyacetylene.

I having problem with walkin freezer can not get it down below 18F degree. I clean condenser coil, replaced the defective defrost timer, clear my sight glass with 2 lbs of r404 A. Played with txv to decrease super heat, still not helping. Unit got down to 18F and the back of the evaporator coil frost up acting like air flow restricted and wont dropp any lower

Did you completely de-ice the coil? Dont rely on the heaters to do that if you had a block of ice on the evap. Check the side compartments, melt off all the ice and make sure you have working fan motors and blades that are NOT bent. Is the door closing properly? Do you have air gaps? Why did you have to clear the sight glass? Did you check for a leak? Do that next before adjusting the txv. If you have a big leak, its probably leaking out as you are charging.

@@deanmohamed7575 yup i thaw ice out completely, the back the front, txv left side and electrical right side. I noticed the fan delay/defrost termination switch did not work because i set 30 min defrost 4 times a day, but during defrost the box temp rise up about 45F degree but the High limit never terminate defrost. I have to turn the timer to take it out of defrost, and my evaporator fan did not delay, came on right the way

@@deanmohamed7575 yup, would that effect the freezer from reach set temp too, i have work on some freezer that still reach set point with the defective dtfd switch. I have called trenton tech support, he advise my condensing is 2018, evaporator coil 2008. He said close the txv all the way clock wise. Back it out counter clock wise 1 and 1/2 turn and then see what is doea
