AffinityMask=254 works only with hyperthreaded cpu's. the value for 4 cores is 14.

I'm running P3D v3.2 on a Core i5-4210U with Intel HD 4400 (yes, I KNOW, STOP IT! At least help me to the best of my limits since I cannot invest in a decent PC!). I can run the game fine with ORBX FTX Global and REX 4 TD w/ Soft Clouds on 20-30 FPS locked with normal scenery settings in an A2A Cessna 172. I want to find a way to further boost my FPS without reducing the graphics settings too much, because when I try to use ReShade 2.0, simply having it run with P3D without injecting any effect causes a 5-10 FPS drop, which kills the immersion a lot.

2 MORE TWEAKS THAT WORKED the use pools tweak and setting the application rority to high went from 30 to around 49-60

FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01 caused to me, that textures are no longer loading after takeoff and ground is blurry. After I deleted this tweak everything is working and thank you for tweaks.

Good advice to set a benchmark and than only apply one tweak at the time. What do you use to record your screen?

It´s still a nightmare with fps. Only thing that currently helps is a 8700k, yet better scenery, higher mesh and further add ons will outdate this one as well. Sooner or later LM needs to completely rewrite the outdated software engine. We are heading towards most realistic simulation but hoping to win a Nascar race with a model T. Look at state of the art games like "The Witcher" or "Far Cry". These are setting the standards with constant frame rates higher than 150 on my rig, while P3D is stuttering around 25 to 45 fps around LAX low! And this from a defense company which should be technology leader....

There's no such thing as a FPS boost in P3D! I get a constant 20-30 FPS in it no matter the settings, low or cranked up to 2.5k res and totally maxed out with 4k textures, I haven't seen a difference, I think maybe, just maybe, going to 2.5k made me lose 1 FPS, that's sad, that means it's not optimised at all, when you go from 1080p to 4k you would think you would lose half your FPS, nope, I lost 2, yep, 2...

And I'm running a pretty good system, a AMD Fury, and I5 6600k OC'd to 4.4ghz, and a AMD Freesync monitor helps, and lots of other goodies. also, I noticed that a lot of people use Nvidia, I know that sounds dumb, considering that they have about 70% of market share, but all I ever see is Nvidia, is it more optimised? Because besides possible optimisation, they're no better, also, I will soon get another AMD Fury when they plummet in price after Polaris is released, does AMD work in crossfire with P3D?

+Easton Williams yes P3D suppports SLI and Crossfire. WOW only 2 FPS when u put it to max? sounds impossible. when i put max i loose 10fps. with these tweaks i loose 4. how do u loose only 2 lol xD

PC Gaming & Tutorials Honestly, I have no freaking clue :D, that's exactly what I thought, and it pissed me off! I was like," what the poop! You're telling me that it's this unoptimised, that I lose maybe 2 FPS setting the resolution to 2.5 X more!" I also watched Matt Daives settings, while hes saying," you can choke your special effects settings up to high, but watch your FPS dip", well, I did it, what happened? Nothing, no FPS dip, the same with going from 2k res textures to 4k, nothing... So I just decided if it doesn't impact my Fps but maybe 2 FPS, I'll crank everything up to Max. I promise I'm not lying, the only way I could prove it is a video I suppose, but I thought everyone would've known that if they tried it? But, when I have ASN installed, and clouds, like overcast starts appearing, yeah, bye bye FPS, it drops to 20, even if it's really bad a little lower for a period of time, that's only really bad weather though. So yeah, I don't know whats up with that, but clouds are the killer, also, last night I flew from Rome, Italy to Tel Aviv Israel, and I got in a few areas, 50fps, I go to like London, I get 20's, if I'm lucky 30, and it can't be because of buildings, I know your thinking, well, the Mediterranean, islands, not a lot of buildings, when in London I got rid of All buildings, and even trees, what happened? FPS stayed the exact same...

Ah, and I have 16gb of ddr4 3200mhz RAM, and that flight was in the Carenado Phenom 300, oh boy, that cockpit makes me lose 10 FPS as opposed to planes without glass cockpits, that I don't understand either, I get a dip there, and clouds, that's it, but boy is that thing a beauty! I love that plane, next I'm getting the PMDG 777, and maybe if they come out with either a 747-8 or a 787 for sure, then that's it, I don't need a garage full of expensive planes, just one or two.
