we who grew up through 60's and 70's have waited A LONG TIME for this awareness. And conferences where you can attend COMPLETELY relaxed and understood.

Thank you for doing that interview! To be honest, I almost didn’t watch it, because I’ve seen so many Joel Salatin interviews. They all focus on his farming methods. This was wonderful. Thank you for getting him to talk about his life, beliefs and hope in Christ. He (Christ) is the hope of the world as a whole - the entirety of creation. He alone holds the answers to redeeming our sick soil. I’m so glad I decided to tune into this.

For so long I, too, felt stuck in the middle between the environmentalists and the church. I couldn’t understand how the church didn’t care about the environment, or how the environmentalists didn’t see God’s hand in Creation. So, I wasn’t alone, after all.

I understand. I have always said, I’m too “churchy” for the world and too “worldly” for the church. That has been my life. I’ve tried to conform but was so unsatisfied when I did. I have finally, at 56, realized that God made me this way so to try and be different goes against his will for my life. I am now trying to live my life before God not mankind. There is peace there. Homestead skills are in my blood. I love to garden, preserve, quilt, and enjoy a simpler lifestyle. It’s a beautiful life.

That was an amazing interview. I am fans of both you and Joel and sure wish that I had access to your country. Because of my vaccine status I may not enter your country from Ontario Canada. I love the idea that Joel gave about homesteading where you are. My husband and I are urban homesteaders and I teach women skills in canning, pressure canning, dehydrating and fermentation. Our dream of having enough property for animals may never come but in our minds we have completely embraced the principles that you both teach wholeheartedly and have directed many who have these opportunities towards your videos/books. May God richly bless the work of your hands for God’s glory.

Hello Kim. I too am saddened by what's going on here in our country, Canada. I'm in the same situation as you are. I'm located in eastern Ontario, west of Ottawa in the valley. I am interested in your woman skills for teaching hands on pressure canning. I'm a gardening lover, live on a farm and only have experience with water bath canning. I hope that there's a way that we can learn from each other.

@americafirst91442 жыл бұрын
The problem is that in 1992 at the Rio Earth Summit, The U-N and world leaders decided to convert us to world communism by using the false excuse of climate change. Also, many environmentalists worship Gaia (earth) as deity. That is not Christian. That said, I consider myself an environmentalist. Just not the climate change alarmist, Pagan kind.

Such a beautiful interview. Brought a tear to my eye... I thought it was particularly poignant, Joel's description of being caught in between... Don't throw the babies out with the collected rain water just because they have dreads.... or speak of Christ!!! LoLoLoL.... We're those newbie, Christian homesteaders too, and not spring chickens either. But time is what you make it and God ain't done with us until he is. Gotta still move forward for as Joel alludes: God helps those who help themselves! Been fixing up the place to sell here in Gotham (or is it Sodom?) to buy 40 acres or so in the Midwest to build a regenerative, homesteading machine. I only hope we're not too late! It is indeed getting dark out here! I've read a few of Joel's books and have his video series from Canada (The Salatin Semester- which is out of print, I think, but you can still get on ebay right now). I'm reading a lot about a lot! There is so much fantastic information out there now, both the dusted off, forgotten old knowledge, and new techniques and synergy amongst them. I know Joel loves to collect old farming books of which there are a LOT! It's a modern day MOVEMENT and I'm soooo happy to be part of it and that the Right and died-in-the-wool Christians are embracing the REVOLUTION before it's too late! I want to find this conference you speak of and go to it next year!!! I'm studying Permaculture also through Geoff Lawton in Australia and his mentor Bill Mollison's books (who invented the thing). Some pretty amazing food forest stuff going on there and all over the planet! More REVOLUTION. You should look up his "Greening the Desert" project (if you don't already know about it) in the sun blasted desert of Jordan in one of the most hostile environments on earth!!! Permaculture design using nature's (God's) own principles to grow food in a natural, successive, sustainable and ridiculously abundant and nutrient dense way is a new/old miracle and simply WORKS! Geoff found a 2000 year old food forest that had been worked and preserved for many, many, many generations to feed a whole village and the system can be the earth's salvation. I am so happy I discovered your channel and I am going to happily mine it for inspiration and knowledge! Cheers and God Bless!

Tip for backing up a trailer. Put both your hands on the lower part of your steering wheel. If you want to go left turn both your hand to the left and visa versa. That is how easy it is. Thanks for the talk. Yeshua says in Revelations I come speedily and my reward (for what we have done - ACTION) is with Me. I will repay everyone according to their deeds. That is suppose to make us think about this sloppy saved by grace never have to do anything Doctrine which is totally false. The word grace is GEN in Hebrew, It actually means FAVOUR. If I have found favour in your eyes... That already implicated an action first. I have learned so much from MTOI on you tube. Hope you will too. YHVH bless you.
