同學，我之前都會同你一樣有同樣諗法，成日都會拿中文容易既點同英文比較，之後就會因為咁話英文好難。後來有位前輩點醒我，話其實每個語言都有難既點（包括中文），只係因為我地作為中文母語者，語法、語境、拼音etc好多野我地講慣、寫慣，自然會忽略左我地母語難既點

反為更confused 嘅係Present perfect同Present perfect continuous. 例如I have lived in HK for 10 years 同 I have been living in HK for 10 years 係咪個連續性有幾大機會繼續嘅分別? 又例如The revenue of the company has dropped since 3 years ago. They shut down some stores last month. 同 The revenue of the company had been dropping since 3 years ago. They shut down some stores last month. 個意思上分別又係邊? 🙏

Melody你好, 有問題想請教, 我當年被上師嚴厲指責(不是native), since唔可以同ago一齊用, 應該用for 3 years , 但是我仍然認為我冇錯, 上網查過有爭議性, 你的看法如何? 例子：He has been in the hospital since 3 years ago (到今日同可見將來都係瞓喺醫院), 當然for 3 years亦冇問題, 表達方式不同而已, 我信狀元的邏輯

咁幾時用has幾時用had/ have ?

Have/Has都係Present Perfect,Has係用係第三身單數(he she it)，而Have用係第三身以外(I You We They)。 至於Had方面，佢係另一種Tense,係Past Perfect ，如果想學Past Perfect 既話要睇睇Melody 老師會5會開片教（其實我都想學）

i wanna ask, if present perfect means something continues till now and probably last to the future, then what about present perfect continue ? What is the difference between ‘I have lived in HK for ten years’ and ‘I have been living in HK for ten years’.

They’d be very similar in meaning in this example - The present perfect tense focuses more on the outcome and the order of the occurrence, while present perfect continuous tense focuses more on the duration and the causal relationship. I’ll make another video on such in the future if there’s a chance~

have been injured 都可以理解成持续受伤噶状态所以如果你想举例present perfect tense噶第三种用法，即过去发生噶事有持续噶影响，建议换个例句。

Both past simple tense and present perfect tense work in this case, depending on how strong you want to emphasise the linkage between the two
