Reagans team did a really despicable thing in the "October Surprise" secret deal with Iran to have the Tehran embassy hostages held until after the election to stuff up Carter's efforts up & win in 1980, on par with Nixon & Kissinger prolonging the 1968 peace talks in Vietnam to win an election. Reagan also had the Solar Panals removed that Carter had installed on the White House roof in 1978! Those on the right side of the aisle, just could not help being scumbags like thier supporters such as @ShinerBock2007.

He is one of the most intelligent, motivated Americans ever to grace planet Earth. He writes books almost annually. There really isn't anything he hasn't done during his long lifetime. He deserves salutations from every corner of the world.

Jimmy Carter has a cursed presidency because of OPEC and the Shah in Iran being removed which caused the hostage crisis. However, he wasn’t a moron and was able to to a bunch of good and was able to grow the economy (until it crashed). Overall, a wonderful, compassionate man, screwed over by foreign affairs.
