Great interview Tim with Robert. Very innovative and talented machinist. Very humble man as well. That 630 ci. Is awesome. And how about the printed carbon manifold. 👍 Good seeing you and Darin and the different people. Hope you had fun at PRI, I wish that I could have made it this year. Next year I would really like to go. Thanks for sharing. My Horsepower guess for the 630 is 1575hp. 🏁 Have a great week.👍🇺🇸👍

To think yiou almost didn't attend! So glad you made it, it was unfortunate you weren't able to peek at the "time capsule" Cleveland engine I brought to the show, but your time was so much better spent it appears by the video lol! Congratulations on the commitments you received from industry insiders, this will help big time to push DBG to the next level! You really see the power of Darrin's contact's at work here too; glad he's part of your team; his work is so respected! 2025 will be epic! BTW when/if I decide to dissassemble the engine, I will record it, may find something of interest, as you say, it's about the history! I believe it was assembled and stored since 1984 possibly! Thanks again! RF
@DragBoss351Cleveland3 күн бұрын
RF, thanks so much. Yes so unexpected, but so rewarding. Yes we both have good contacts and now as a team, you are so right, 2025 is going to definitely take DBG to the next level with DBG U. Sure if you pull her down always cool to see inside an engine that’s had been out together 50 years ago. Yes keep me posted, next year will be better planned.

About 97 percent sure Dyno Don's 1977 Mustang II , NHRA Pro Stock champ car ran a Doug Nash clutchless 5 speed , most or all of the year . Jon Kasse can verify this ; however he doesn't seem to want to , or he isn't aware of this old man ravings . Tim, congrats on a hugely successful trip .
@DragBoss351Cleveland14 күн бұрын
Appreciate it Roland. That I can’t comment on always assumed it was a Leko. But you know your race car so you’re probably right. I’ve talked to Jon on a few occasions, he was going to build the TrackBoss , but then later said too busy at 68 with new shop going up. I will get him on, very tough to pin down though. Thanks for noticing what is happening as others are seeing it too. DBG will be the place to be……
@rolandtamaccio328514 күн бұрын
@DragBoss351Cleveland ,,, as far as I know the clutchless 5 speed was the cornerstone of Dyno's '77 championship , as only he and Bill Jenkins had the tranny for most of the season ,,, !

I would have loved to see Dyno's MII. Great vid, Tim!
@DragBoss351Cleveland14 күн бұрын
It is really a piece of racing history. Just know he layed hands on it. So cool. I am going to see if he would like to do a live chat. See what we can learn about Dyno.
