@IntellectualJourneys7772 жыл бұрын
@@pinetworkminer8377 I live in Samsun on the Black Sea coast and 1000 USD is good for here. But for Antalya and Istanbul They could be pretty pricey depending on where you want to live in Istanbul if you’re anywhere on the European side near a subway station you could be looking at about $400 to $500 per month for rent. That would probably be your biggest expense food and transportation are relatively somewhat expensive when you have foreign currency like the dollar. To buy a vehicle they are very expensive here in Turkey compared to what people earn. This is a cool country with lots of nice people , very friendly and hospitable. Lot of ex-pats live in Antalya and Fethiye. Moving overseas is an adventure for sure. Note Turkey is a developing country so it might take some time to get used to. Good luck 👍
Still, Turkiye is a country with very cheap prices of food, considering the quality, quantity, and variety of food they offer, almost always freshly made food

Please consider if prices have doubled in one year, this corresponds to an inflation of 100% (price x2) and not 200% (price x3). 😉

@@allenjohnson7686rents increased 3X-5x. Minimum salary wage is not enough to rent a house, so these waiters ask more money,.or quit job. If they get more money, then the restaurants has to make prices more, it is close to Euro level now. So more and more foreigners come, rents will increase more so everything. The rent prices in my neighbourhood just increased 30% in last two weeks. You did not read it wrong, in the last two weeks 30% increase. Inflation is high for years and years now in Turkey, there is is not really a “before” to compare to. Here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqXGqamChNCtqKs I explained how much we are spending, in USD/EUR the budget is always similar (apart from rent kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYDappKGnZeNeJo)

I'm from the UK and will be visiting Sarigerme, Dalaman, later in the summer; does anyone have any advice as far as purchasing Lira goes? Am I better buying Lira over in Turkey, or should I buy it whilst in the UK? I'm only there for a week, and staying in an all inclusive hotel, so don't need much spending money, but currently plan on just taking English notes and buying Lira over there. If anyone has any thoughts/experience, I'd love to hear it. ✌️

Hi. I started to watch your videos few weeks ago because i plan to go to Antalya for my honeymoon. Thanks a lot for all information. I just wanted to ask you how you recommend pay there. Should i change my money for turkish lira or should i pay with my credit card. Because you told that in turkish lira it is double now so .. is it better to pay with credit card? Thanks for answer and your work in those videos

The prices are cheaper than Philippines 🇵🇭 3x expensive here for example whole chicken cost in Turkey 2 dollars here is 6 dollars per kilo also the restaurants here are so expensive. The cooking oil cost 6 dollars here for 1 kilo
@timlaw4068 ай бұрын
That changed in one year, now Manila and Istanbul have about the same average cost, with the Turkish wages 35% higher than Philipino wages.

Good price review video, but would be nice if you include price in euro as well :)

Thanks! Euro and USD are almost 1:1 now, so we included only one currency for simplicity ☺️

turkey is cheap for AUD, USD, EURO and Stirling. It is not cheap for those Turkish people actually earning lira. So you're living comfortably.

Not anymore, it changed in one year. Turkish wages have gone up by 50% in USD and prices are not cheap for foreigners either
