Yeah agree freights been bad, not only at prime but I’ve heard other guys from other companies complaining. I’ve always like tanker but I don’t see myself doing it anytime soon. I have the tanker endorsement though

big time i'm gonna give you a good advice go for a company. Dont do lease , the market is so bad if you doing lease you are gonna make $3000 every week for the first month after that you are going to make between 600 and1200 a week that's how it work at Prime Inc .

I hear you talking about actually staying with prime after training. I suggest you get your hazmart and get on to a hazmart company. More money , more loads less stress. Yes you will ask about the contract you signed with them. They will send you a bill and you negotiate the amouth owed . I worked for prime and only did 5 months. They sent me a bill and i paidless than a half. Think about it

@@user-mh1ch6bd8j it’s not bad it’s a 50/50 that you’ll get a good trainer but make sure to regularly call and check on your miles around every week or 2 cause before they can route you in they want to know if you want to be lease or company

Just remember 50 is the minimum, you will get another 5-10 before getting routed in for upgrade.

Did you go home anytime during your tnt? Does being away count towards home time 7 days out 1 day home? Cause my trainer went home my lady drove 3hrs and we gotta a hotel. I started march 22nd I got 15K miles left

I did not go home my whole tnt phase. Tnt is different from the 7 day out one day home situation, that’s when you are a company driver. In tnt if you want to go home for a week or two you can, but you might lose your trainer and not get pay.

I could understand your sacrifice if it was a child. If the dog survived the anxiety of you being away, in 3-4 months it could be your road dog in the truck. If you’re a man I don’t want to hear about a dog stopping you from bettering you situation. If you’re a girl, it sounds cute, and someone will probably take care of you through marriage 😃

I know that sounds soft and I know compromises have to be made.. she will most definitely be on the truck with me! I'm definitely a man, but I grew up around dogs and have always had them. I couldn't imagine giving any one of them up that I've had. I'm single with no children.. she is the only thing making me hesitate.. she will be in good hands with my parents but in 10 plus years we've never been apart more than 10 to 12hrs.. Yeah it definitely sound soft. Just let me know when you put yourself and your future first. A lot of truck drivers have their dog with them on the road, you could be one. If not, stay home and chill with your dog, the dog is more important than your future it seems.
