I've loved the album version of "The Question of U" since it came out, just beautiful. i've heard a few live versions of this song, but this is by far the best i've heard. Amazing guitar and the vocal is top notch. This is an perfect example of a master of his art. Although this was posted on youtube by Alexander a year ago, this recording was actually on youtube years earlier. i ripped it when it was first posted, then somebody pulled it down. i'm glad to see it's back up. This post and take down problem happened once with a Donna track too and she was just as masterful. i've been watching this clip and Donna's, locally for years now. i'm thankful to have ripped them because every time i watch them, they just melt me with awe. I've been a Prince fan since about 1981. The first song i remember, that caught my ear, was "I wanna be your lover". i've been a fan ever since. Prince was the basis of music for me, for a huge part of my life. i've loved lots of music, but anybody who knows me, knows Prince's music is embedded deep in my heart. People say that "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is the greatest guitar solo, etc... but i find this one much more impressive. Maybe I'm kinda biased, i've always loved "The Question of U" since day 1.

This one is definitely better. More emotive for sure. Gets under your skin like that. The most under-rated guitarist of our time. He was so damn reclusive. Every time you got to see him was just a mesmerizing event. Wish I'd managed to see him live. That's where the magic happened according to reports.
