Between the 'fluff off' moment and the spontaneous laughter at 'you told me they were all dead,' I was cracking up. Those moments with friends or siblings when you're supposed to be respectful, but, inevitably, spontaneous laughter breaks out...and you struggle to find your composure...priceless.

"You said they were all dead." I almost stopped breathing while laughing at your delivery there, Rick. It reminded me of a child embarrassing a parent by repeating something they'd said in private. I needed that laugh. Thanks guys for always putting out top content!

I started to get tired walking up the long path. Almost out of breath. Then seeing it was quite beautiful, seems like a holy place. "They're all dead" had me laughing hard! And that face added in! ROFL!

Many years ago they used to make pottery on the site as I had a friend that works there and one Christmas they had their Christmas party at the old monastery it was a sight to be hold the monks dancing

@10:45 in that direction looking on the map its likely to be Malvern Hills around 17 miles away which is near where you go camping at Eastnor castle. The Welsh Black Mountains are more to the east. Just a pity it couldn't be more eventful, next time check the place your visiting is open first. So basically you walked up the hill path from the car park then walked back down to the cafe & sat in the van. In that case i wouldnt knock a visit to a garden centre 😅

Great to see you and Alex out and about! Alex is such a character, and I laughed out loud at some of the things he says like ' you'd think that the monks would have made the monastery a bit closer to the visitors centre!' (after the unexpected, extended walk down the lane). How lucky you are to live in a country where you can visit places of such beauty and significance within a day's drive... The monastery itself is such a place of peace and grace. It's such a shame that it has diminished in its capacity and economic viability. I live close to what used to be a great abbey once occupied by the Trappist Cistercian monks who came from France, and who had occupied the site up until a fire destroyed it in 1983. It was a large part of the community, providing their famous cheese, butter, bread, honey and other products for sale to the neighboring community. All gone now, but in its place is a working Art centre and a historical site which Alex would be delighted to know is thankfully only steps from the parking lot...! ha ha ha ha....I agree with Alex in his sentiments. Such a lovely friend to you. Enjoy your time together and I hope the blue sky returns!

Never a dull moment with your friend Rick, your sides must be aching from laughing on this one. Did you both forget to buy the obligatory fridge magnets? Thank you both for an entertaining fun video, can't wait for the next one.

Good job u went yesterday, as snow around Gloucestershire today (from the Met weather reports), so no blue sky. Is Prinknash National Trust or similar?

Oh dear boys, you let me down with this one, apart from me shouting ‘Prinnish’ at the screen (come on Alex you should have known that being a local lad) but you evicted the monks and didn’t mention the lovely Prinknash Pottery the monks used to make there, and the amazing bird and deer park that used to be in the grounds until 2019. Local history lesson over, at least the sky was blue for you 😂😂
