She mentioned I Was the One. It's one of my favorite songs. One day I was listening to it when I realized although he recorded that song before he met her it was all about them . He admitted he was teaching her to become the kind of wife he wanted. The verse " She lived she loved she laughed she cried and it was all for me." is what she became. The only verse that is wrong is " I'll never know who taught her to lie" you did Elvis. You lied to her about running around on her. At the end of the song he looses her. I suggest you listen to it very closely. If you saw her movie you might remember the scene where they get in an argument, he throws her clothes in her suit case and tells Joe Esposito get her plane tickets and tells her he's sending her home. Then as she was leaving he stoped her. This was to teach her not to question his involvement with other women. Regardless of the women that put him on a pedestal, he was human and could be mean just like any man. When he was angry she called him Fire Eyes.

I agree, none of them were horrible. As much as I admire and respect Priscilla for what she has done to keep Elvis' legacy alive since he died, I thought it was quite rude of her to say that. Even if Elvis himself wasn't happy with some of his films, the diehard fans loved them all because they showcased Elvis - his good looks and his voice, and his personality and humor shone through the lines he had to speak.

Considering the fact that he came for the background he came from which is the south southern people take their religion and their Bibles quite seriously And I don’t know why they think there’s exemptions somewhere like thou shall not kill well if you’re eating dead animals then you’ve participated and you’re an accessory to that murder but somehow they found a place in the Bible that justifies them being able to eat certain animals Anyway it’s a complete cluster you know what Priscilla is a Gemini Gemini‘s have a double side and as much as I like her she was young she was conditioned and he even went on record which I knew before I heard that that he got her at a young age so he could condition her to his liking that is a narcissistic trait narcissist love attention and even though she has gone on record saying that he was a private man and didn’t like all the photos and attention in the public that’s not true because how many times did they purposely go in public how many times did he meet the fans at the gate how many times were there problems with the fans and Priscilla because there were some jealousy and competition or even hatred because she was living there and they weren’t There’s been a lot of discrepancies throughout the whole charade and 45 years later it’s still going on now it’s not nice to not believe somebody but I can tell you my intuition saying that even just the three little songs I don’t believe those were his favorites and I believe anything he saying whether he wrote it or not had a specific meaning for specific purpose and it could be applied to certain individuals in his life I also believe he regretted deeply the fact that he couldn’t remain faithful to her because he didn’t realize what she meant until she was gone but the damage had already been done and the fact that he wouldn’t even be intimate with her after the child came that destroys a person and makes them turn on themselves and I know she thought she loved him and in someway she always will but it’s not a healthy love and it wasn’t real none of the relationships he had were ever real they were all younger they were all model material and they were all for entertainment purposes he wanted to be in control of everything and everyone And one thing he didn’t have control over what is himself and that’s usually how it goes Elvis had a very unhealthy relationship with his mother he adopted a lot of her issues and he tried to make things better for her and she just wasn’t right because as a mother you don’t really condone especially back then in that time your son who is 21 years old chasing after girls shortly after they hit puberty but she did encourage it there wasn’t anything too good for her son but she just doesn’t seem right that in itself really flagged my attention anyway now that everybody’s probably really good and pissed off because well they’re fans and they don’t wanna hear about that stuff and they don’t want to think about or they wanna say oh you know chill out he’s just a dude and that’s what dudes do well women you got to be responsible for your own body and you’re going to be responsible for your own choices because no one can take a vantage of you unless you allow it and if you reduce yourself or disgrace yourself in any way than you participated in that whole thing and I certainly don’t believe that that is the way things ever should’ve been because men come through women that’s how they come to this earth they should always have respect for women and not see them as objects or tools of desire not even Elvis

They went through a lot together. She didn't encourage him to have relationships with minors. Elvis had a steady girlfriend until he was 20. It was a girl from his church. After that he dated Barbara Hearn and Anita Wood both were over 18. Elvis was not a Narcissist. He,was a young man thrust into mega stardom very quickly. It was hard for him to have normal relationships. He wS a man of his generation that had ideas about women that seem outdated today but he was a kind, giving, and loving man but he was human. A good man always loves and respects his mother if she has been a good mother to him as a child. Gladys must have seen something special in her son to want to protect him throughout his childhood, so he could grow to an adult and fulfil those dreams.
