I know it's for entertainment, but the trouble with these martial art films is the baddies keep coming, even when a couple have already been done, and it's obvious the fella knows what he's doing,and not to be messed with. In reality, after one, maybe two went down, the rest would back off

One thing I appreciated about the Watchmen books and movies is the way they PERMANENTLY "deal" with those that try at first to kill or hurt them...in my opinion, he should have killed at least 2 or 3 henchmen to let the others know that he means business....a dead guy can't keep coming after you.

The problem with martial arts is that when I have a knife or hammer you can send the biggest martial arts guy to me and he will be dead in a couple seconds. In movies martial art is great. In reality they are all aggressive imbeciles beating up women or 80 year old cripples. So best to keep it as entertainment if you want to live longer.

It's a movie, so of course it's perfectly choreographed. But all those laughing hardened criminals would stop laughing were they foolish enough to attack a highly advanced martial artist. Yes, a pack of them would no doubt ultimately kill him, but a couple would be permanently injured or dead. Who knows, maybe that would be worth it to them.

I think this film plot was a remake of the movie Hard Times, set during the Depression, with Charles Bronson in the fighter role, a badass back in his day. James Coburn was his manager. Both good films.
