He just didn't wanna look like an idiot donating that min-raise to him at the end. Safieddine knew he was weak and Esfandiari only said it to make the other guy feel like he lost by not betting more.

Nah, a shove on the flop with quads is insanity. So that’s out of the question. A much bigger re-raise would’ve gotten Esfandiari to fold. I was surprised he called that raise to begin with. It was a good value bet, Esfandiari just said that at the end to fuck around and to ease his tilting.

You would bet wrong, he was 100% telling a lie. He was outplayed this hand and knew he should not have called that extra 10K, he does not beat any of the hands his opponent is representing. That was the only raise he was calling and his opponent read him perfectly for It, anything bigger and Antonio was folding.

No, Esfandiari refers to the action on the flop. He'd probably call a 3bet all in with nut flush and nut straight draws. That's the best he's gonna have apart from JJ and TT and he might just be forced to call due to fold equity
