Prime example is how much more dynamic Hill has been with Mahomes as opposed to Alex Smith. Plus, i believe what makes Mahomes special is all the things he does before the ball ever leaves his hand.

I’m a Brady fan and after the Super Bowl I can say Mahomes is the most talented quarterback ever. He through a ball while he was parallel with the ground and he didn’t even need that much force. It seemed like he just flicked the ball and it went 70 plus yards down the field and right in the basket of his player (I think it was Hill) but unfortunately for him it was dropped. @columbia2635 Жыл бұрын
Someone once summed it up perfectly (exactly how I saw it) Jackson is a runner who can throw the ball. I'd rather have a QB who can throw the ball and run when he needs to. Mahomes was drafted while the Chiefs had one of the highest paid QBs in Alex Smith. His first rookie year, Mahomes was learning from Alex Smith and credits him with much of his success now. It's one thing to come into a league and play defense or offensive tackle. It's another thing to do it as a rookie QB, a job that takes more discipline and essentially is the center of the entire team. Don't mistake his only playing the final game in his rookie year as his not being good enough. BTW, it might be time for you to revisit this as Mahomes now has 2 SB rings and there are a lot better highlights. His 5 years as a starter has matured him to a whole new level. He's calm, focused and can literally make plays out of nothing. There is no one - NO ONE - who can do what he does. You have to look at the types of throws he makes, the fact that he throws to a dozen guys, not just the stars, that he can pretty much wriggle out of any tight spot, that he can not only find a guy to throw to but can figure out where he needs to throw it if that guy runs this way at that speed.... Also, you do understand that Belichick and Brady did a whole lot of cheating, right? And the Chiefs had that game won if not for Dee Ford having a finger across the line at the snap.
@nygroover3973 жыл бұрын
He's a complete QB. He can run, he is poised and he is accurate from all ranges. His throwing mechanics are sick and most teams have trouble adapting to it. He did from the beginning what Russell Wilson, Cam Newton and Lamar Jackson had/have to adapt to. He can control things from the pocket and is always a threat to take off on foot and get some yardage. Being pressured just makes him better. He is an elite level once or twice in a generation talent at QB. I am not a K.C. fan, but respect just be paid and talent acknowledged always.
