Jeff Kwong Roast on Deathmist Raptor
@kukuallenpoo9 жыл бұрын
Jeff Kwong It was a draconic roar. Lee was at 19 before the stormbreath attack which means he was actually at 15. The draconic roar deals 3 damage and killing fleecemane leaving Lee with 12 hp and exactly 12 points of power in the air for Joel

kukuallenpoo Thanks for the clarification :)

kukuallenpoo Wasn't Lee making the fleecemane monstrous though? Making it a 4/4 hexproof, indestructible so should've killed the thunderbreak regent and not get targeted by the draconic roar?
@kukuallenpoo9 жыл бұрын
Joel waited for Lee to make fleecemane monstrous so the ability went on the stack and then played draconic roar meaning that draconic roar resolves first killing the fleecemane before it became monstrous.

The nissa at the end was put into play with 5 counters, which is cheating right? He just played it so it could be 4 at most.

A Bazz Yeah, she should have come in at 3 and gone to 4 when she animated the land. Strange no one caught it.

Since this was standard, i thought you couldnt play vintage, non-basic land cards, but at 16:25 Rick Lee has a vintage dual land

Nihant Ganta That is a Caves of Koilos, originally printed in 9th edition, and recently reprinted in m15. You are allowed to play older printings of standard-legal cards, such as that Caves of Koilos

I love watching pro games to see the top cards, interactions, and strategies for different matchups, but I find all the idiosyncratic card flicking/popping irritating. There is no reason to pick up and flick down a card every time you tap or untap it. Why can't pros and wanna-be pros simply draw, play, and pivot their cards in a more natural way? And don't get me started on the annoying continuous flicking of cards in hand!
