Yahweh is the name revealed to the prophet, Moses for the God of the Israelites. It was said to be so sacred that Israelites would not speak it, but they would write it out as YHWH. He is the Creator and sustainer of all things, and He became a man 2,000 years ago and died a sinless death for sinners like us so that we may have eternal life if we believe in Him as the one true God.

It's cool to see a good looking window cleaner. We don't have any good looking window cleaners where I'm at lol. I've been doing this for over 20 years. My business went from working 10 hour days down to 2 hour days due to chronic back pain. I can only handle being upright 2 hours cleaning windows. It stinks. I was making good money before. You're really good. Hope you can keep going longer than i have.

Which gloves do you wear in the winter? Ones with an AA battery powered heater in them? If the window is being cleaned regularly (weekly), you can leave a 1/2inch (ish) dry line along the top, if the window isn't too dirty is that correct?
@waynetec13
@waynetec13 5 жыл бұрын
If they're a weekly or bi-weekly maintenance account, you can leave a small bit at the top occasionally, but another window washer will be able to recognize that you left it undone. I can always spot windows that have a guy.

streaking on that last one. I always streak a little when fanning a squeegee smaller than 12 inchs. What is the purpose of the windmill technique? Also I have rule for my employees. if the window is small enough for two passes only use straight pulls. I do 80% residential so anything seen from the inside reqiires a do over or quick repair. Good video but I cant use it because of the first technique is missing the top frame edge to be dried before squeegeeing begins.
@SteveOthewindowcleaner
@SteveOthewindowcleaner 8 жыл бұрын
+Doug Stansell Yea I would never use a 12 inch on this big of a window, straight pulls can be good but I really only do it on commercial windows, I try to do as little as I can doing residential. Overall fanning is a better product then straight pulls. Windmill is strictly for fun . If you did it on every window you would need shoulder surgery in 6 months lol you do not need to dry the top edge if your doing straight pulls, you should wipe the top edge after doing the straight pulls if you've dried the top edge or not.
@dougstansell
@dougstansell 8 жыл бұрын
+Steve O oh I use the edge of my squeegee to dry the top just about 1 inch and yes detailing the top with a huck towel as well as the sides. Fanning in my opinion may create less water on the sides but still leaves a tiny bit and really be seen on the inside quite a bit. Every person that claims to not need to use a towel has never proven it to me. allthough wood frame windows seem to absorb that excess water most of time.

Hey steve i have a question. when doing a normal window cleaning job and most of the windows have water spots is it your responsibility to get them all off or try your best to get the water spots and move on?
@SteveOthewindowcleaner
@SteveOthewindowcleaner 8 жыл бұрын
For a normal window I would take some 0000 steel wool and try to rub away the hard water to see how bad it is. If it does or doesn't come off with it you should definitely charge double to triple to remove any extreme hard water, it's very time consuming and is no fun! A1 hard water removal cream works well!

This happens to everyone, always keeping your rubbers fresh and sometimes carefully pulling the little pieces off at the end of the rubber that shred throughout a day can help. I find I notice it way more in the winter then summer. It gets really frustrating sometimes

Window Cleaning isn't a perfect science, don't stress over the little things, I used to and it stressed me out. One thing I learned early was to look at windows the way the customer does and that's if they look good from a far most likely the customer will be happy with the product. It's a lot better then windex and paper towels ;)

Steve O Cool Steve! I like your attitude on this, I used to work with a sign painter that told me " people can only see a sign from one side at a time" meaning, if you made some minor mistake that didn't match the other side, don't stress, you have to consider the end-users experience of the product, they don't nit pick it like you might. Sad truth: if a window washer is good enough, people don't even know they were there and probably don't care, they just like their reflection in the glass!
@SteveOthewindowcleaner
@SteveOthewindowcleaner 8 жыл бұрын
+zach wasil thank you Zach! A lot of beginner window cleaners are OCD about every little thing on the window. Painting is definitely similar. I've had this mindset for a long time and it allows me to get through work easily and makes life a lot less stressful.

If the window was dirty it would not be good if I missed that spot but when doing commercial accounts every month the windows should be clean enough that the residual water going over that space would clean it up. Remember your a boss of a window cleaning company not a military sergeant!

True, however I wouldn't be happy if I owned the business and saw that, I know you would get away with it on commercials that are regular but its a bad habit to get into as when you go to a domestic that hasn't be cleaned for 2 years you may to the same habitual cleaning method. Other than that I must say a good video, so well done.

I know what Chris is talking about. Too much rubber on dry glass. Basic squeegee turning. TRY all that on residential "tattle-tell" glass in the summer...Squeegee mark squeegee mark squeegee mark! But overall, very nice wrist action. Very fluid, smooth. Didn't leave much water on edges. He did keep the squeegee wet though. Nice vid!

The amount of time it took u to wet em up, I would've had them done. I don't need rags either and I can "windmill" it all the to the bottom. Good video for though, but we both know u can't learn it from a video

Hi Jason, Thanks for the comment. I was in no rush here, the customer wasn't at the store yet so I was just having fun. Windmilling is fun but not ideal for everyday window cleaning, I have a video doing it all the way to the bottom as well by hand and on a pole with a wagtail. It does take a while to learn these techniques but if this video can help one person then that's all I hope for. Have a good one!
