The best xy i have ever seen! My uncle had a xy when i was young so i always wanted one too. i have owned an XY since i was 18 years old ,i'm 52 now ! its been sitting in the garage for a long time now, after seeing this its inspired me again to start to put it back on the road!

Those dissing Simon's pronunciation really need to ask themselves how many of the recent arrivals to this country will have ANY interest in vintage Aussie muscle 10 years from now ? Every car-crazy kid I've spoken to is far more interested in Japanese and European cars that they can get straight from a dealer - throw in Police attitudes in many states and there's very little incentive for anyone to pump this kind of money into an 'old car' that will see most of its life on a trailer. I don't know where he got the money and I don't care - I can appreciate the work that's gone into this car.

There are those people who build their own car and are invested in the majority of their restoration and will either have someone else to complete some aspect of the rebuild like trim, paint or the engine. The others pay others (usually pros or self taught and very talented individuals). Despite whichever option is taken, quality workmanship still produces a nice car and this is a good example of passion and quality workmanship. Well done!

Also at 4:40 mark WOw so much noise yet the car went knowhere all that power but cant transfer it to the ground and done up for what street use, you could get a small block 289 and do it up for the race track and change the gears and Auto for drags and it will eat this up full stop, lol :)

Alo driving on a straight line road and the steering wheel is pointing to the left and down, you would have to be on a 15 degree right side slope road surface to have the wheel down and to the left like that ? HUM perfect right, more like i will pay for anything to have a trophy, LMFAO ?

The best of the best, then it would be in soft crocodile leather and or Italian leather o Rolls Royce Leather, Actatara trim and fitted with airbags front and side impact airbags to come up trumps with the new cars as far as safety LMFAO really, lol :)

I had a XY Fairmont for 3 days until I rapped it around a tree drunk, I've still got the keys, its in a better place now that great car yard in the sky... My friend that is probably the nicest XY Falcon I have ever seen, full credit and screw all the jealous lounge chair experts and haters... They don't have mint street machines in their workshop, I have a 76 Flh Shovelhead HD she idles at 250 rpm nice... Petrol is for washing your parts in, Alcohol is for drinking and Nitro is for racing...

That thing will scrub like hell as soon as you put people in it, driver only no worries, but have 5 people all up and those guards will scrub with the tyers full stop,, unless it got tubbed or has different offsets rims so the tyres are not going to rub against the guards ?
