I love your passion! Some of your content is generic and focuses more on purchasing, rather than procurement. Interviews for the roles you mentioned world focus on Supplier Relationship Management, and corporate social responsibility. Risk would be a key topic that you might add. Most procurement staff would highlight dealing with internal stakeholders as more challenging than dealing with external stakeholders. Maybe triangulate my comments with a serving procurement manager? I watched to the end, and loved your passion; the content needs a refresh.

Hi Richard, how would you discribe the impact procurement will have on the public sector in this pandemic?

That's a good one! I would say it will significantly impact because suppliers will not be able to produce goods or keep up with demand. Procurement would need to be reassessed and a keen eye kept on the finances. We may need to look at alternative suppliers for emergencies and we'd need to be adaptable. Good luck!

yes.. it is important to know the current prices of raw material you are handling right now.. Have a discussion with dealers of raw material in India.. you will get a rough idea of prevailing prices.. and cross check with suppliers to find the differences if any..
