2 things I didn’t mention in the video, ASBL dimming and input lag. 1) ASBL I didn’t see a being a factor in HDR I did a 7 minute dimming test in game mode and I didn’t notice a change in UI brightness. In SDR it does gradually decrease brightness but it isn’t too noticeable unless you go looking or your sensitive to this. I don’t see ASBL being any different than other QD OLED tv’s in the past for HDR. 2) Input lag is not a problem yes numbers are higher but unless you’re a competitive pro gamer on the pro circuit I wouldn’t even bother being concerned about it. It’s 16 ms in 60 about 8-9 in 120 this is fine for gaming latency, it’s not going to feel any different than any other TV realistically, I’ve tested it back with the A80J vs C1 and came to the same conclusion. Hope these answers help.

Of course this TV is great for Gaming as well. :P I think it is overblown to split "Pro" and "Casual" only because of some numbers on paper or some "Enhancers" which hurts the picture quality. The biggest advantage on the Sony is the much mre accurate Picture in Game Mode out of the box, which makes a way bigger difference imo. Because you see the Game how it was created. Which can make a difference in puzzles, details and so on. Imo Sony goes in the right direction with SDR Game Mode. Many people don´t "like" HDR and find it too dim, because they never saw a good picture. And they have no no idea what dynamic range is. They got used to wrong and overblown colors and brightness (at the end a flat picture). Sony stays in the SDR range for SDR. On top of that you avoid Burn In problems over long term. It only takes some time for our brain and eyes to get used to an accurate image.

HDR I didn't notice any troubling issues there, SDR does have some gradual dimming over time but I doubt many will notice it unless you go looking for it.

“How likely is this?” Well guess that takes this tv out of consideration for me. I game on the three main consoles and use a Sonos arc for sound. Ugh….such a premium tv and they cheap out on the hdmi ports.

for me it's enough, been on LG TV's always, but this one does the job all my settings are at standard presets, I lf HDR is looking bad it because game is a trash, and Starfield is one of them, I play few game's and usually in SDR sometimes HDR depends on the game.

I have the A95K with XSX, PS5, and Sonos arc and use a little 2way hdmi2.1 splitter off Amazon with no issues for like 2 years. Full bandwidth signal can be switched by just pressing a button and the shit was like 20 bucks. It’s not that big a deal

Samsungs S95C when pushed has the best HDR impact of any consumer television! Highlight placement has been amazing for all TVs this year the G3,S95C,A95L all did a good job but gaming with 2,000 nits is out of this world!! Also to have the option to use game motion plus makes all the difference for switch games!

@@TheAntifluencer Go up on size! Indeed hacked and been running a hacked S95B and both offer better HDR impact! Clarity and detail galore! Still no burn in and never will! Somehow I repeat the same comment on your repeated comment about a tv “YOU DO NOT OWN” yet you continue to choke on it! 😂🤣😂
@walidhannaoui1802 Жыл бұрын
Ehhhh I still wouldn’t recommend the Samsung or Lg for switch games as neither upscale in game mode. End up with real bad color banding and overly pixelated image. Sony still upscales to 4K in game mode and their smooth gradiation eliminates most color banding

@@walidhannaoui1802 Look at KGs video with switch gaming QD Oleds don’t have banding it’s non existent and no pasteurization and both LG and Samsung use A.I upscaling for games in game mode lol who told you it didn’t? It looks phenomenal!

A95L can't do Black Frame Insertion at 120hz. Also most OLEDs lose a lot of brightness when enabling BFI. But my X95K and likely X95L only loses about 50 nit when enabling Clearness 1 aka BFI which is almost imperceptible, AND they can do 120hz or 100hz BFI depending on the desktop refresh rate, also X95L supposedly can also do 60hz BFI which is good. I LOVE playing all types of side scrolling games on my PC now as long as the run at 120fps which is easy on my RTX 4090 because they remain sharp in panning motion thanks to the BFI. Also it's equally bright in SDR as in HDR. While I would live to have the local pixel contrast that OLED offers, I want my BFI and SDR without brightness drop. I guess we'll have to wait another couple of years before moving on from my 85" miniLED.

Wow ! 😊 what a slaughterfest, now you'll just have to put the A95L next to the S95C and make a video to clearly show to even the last Samsuck fangril who looks Boss in Games.
