Daniel sang this song the way it was meant to be sung, forever. It is a testimony to the evolution of faith: at the beginning we see the reverent shyness of a recent convert and at the end we see the joy of the son who - recognized and accepted - gratefully throws himself into the Father's arms. Dan is a musical genius - he takes any song he wants and turns it into something better. He becomes the song he sings. He commented that as his faith grew stronger, he began to choose his versions more carefully so that he could bring people only high vibrations of joy, hope, real power and gratitude. I first heard him sing this a few months ago and immediately searched him out on KZbin to hear every cover he's made. He is awesome on every one of them. I was in absolute shock the first time I heard this; his control and his absolute mastery of dynamics is rarely heard, and the raw power and range of his voice are just incredible. I've been a metal fan for 40 years and have heard singers with range but no "movement" and some with emotion but no control or power but difficulty meeting and/or sustaining pitch. I can count on the fingers of one hand the metal singers who had/have the ability to handle ALL of these various aspects, and Dan is easily better than at least two of those I have in mind. He posted this about a month ago and when the older,God fearing headbangers got wind of it word spread like a wildfire after a 10 year drought; he had over 2 million views in less than 2 weeks, without any ridiculous influencer antics or desperate stupidity it usually takes for most KZbinrs to get that kind of following.

Hope you don't mind honest feedback, if you do don't read on as you may not like it. I find your intro extremely long and over the top. Your sound is distorted every 3 or 4 seconds. Yor background is very dark so I cannot read your facial expressions. Being very hearing impaired I need to see more than others to interpret the joy that music brings. Please don't hate me.
