I was going to comment asking how you would compare this to the SkinFix, but you already answered that! Sounds like a lovely moisturizer. I remember sampling it on my hand in Sephora and enjoying the texture. The packaging is also quite nice!

It is a really nice moisturizer. The texture is really luxurious and feels amazing on the skin. There is no greasiness and my make up looks so good when I wear this moisturizer.

My mom bought this and I've tried it a few times. I'm not big on skincare, normally just use all Cerave products but this stuff has me ready to drop $$$. it's so good

Thank you for the comment. I think CeraVe has some great skincare products and they are quite affordable. But I agree this cream feel absolutely amazing and I am really debating re-purchasing it for the winter even though it’s so pricey.

So glad you said something about the smell. I thought I was going crazy! I like the feel of it, but the smell is so awful it honestly makes me gag. I don't think I can buy it again. It's disappointing. Changing a smell seems like an easy fix.

I agree the feel of this moisturizer is really nice, but I completely understand your comment about the smell. I love this moisturizer. Putting the rose oil on top makes it even better. The gel version didn’t quite give me enough moisture. I haven’t even noticed the smell. It’s exlrndicf but with coupons and Rakuten it brings it down to a affordable price. They have this is a jumbo size now. Twice the amount for only like 12 dollars more. My skin does a lot better with good skincare. It just doesn’t look good with drugstore skin care. Serums in the drugstore are getting pricy too.

Omg thank you so much for this great tip, I am going to have to try the rose oil. I haven’t tried the gel version but the cream gave me everything I needed so I figured the gel version might not work as well for my skin especially in the winter. @@thecristinamaria I have normal to dry skin and the gel moisturizer was just fine and nice. But I can’t really afford both so I will just go with the omega one when I buy the full size.

@@hurshrd654 I completely agree they are quite pricey and I would not pay that much on both moisturizers, I am sticking with the Omega cream version as well.

@@thecristinamaria If you can manage a 25 or 30% it’s not a bad deal. Plus Rakuten rebate is ten percent. I definitely won’t buy stuff from this like unless I have a good coupon so always need to think ahead to keep a lookout. I got the vitamin c spot serum this past week when it was 30% off plus Rakuten had 15.% rebate. So a 62 dollar serum ended up being less then $40. Think that was a good deal.

Whew! Im glad you mentioned the weird scent. I thought my product went bad even though it’s new. It smells like old cheese. 🤮 Thank goodness it does go away but it’s very unsettling each time I use it.

Yeah I feel like a lot of the new moisturizers that I’ve been trying lately that have no fragrance added have some sort of scent to them and it’s usually a strange one. Luckily it goes away quickly. But honestly the weird scent aside, this particular moisturizer is so good! I love it, especially for the winter months. 😊

That is a tough question, I really love them both, but if I had to choose I would say Biossance as my night cream in the winter and Skinfix as my day cream, although that would be a very expensive skincare routine if I used them both hahaha. Have you tried them? And if you did, which one do you prefer?

@@thecristinamaria I’m using this Skinfix at night and the Skinfix gel in the morning. I never tried the biossance cream, the formula looks much simpler and the container isn’t convenient as the Skinfix . But if you are recommending to try, I definitely will. Which one to try first Kiehls or Biossance?

@@SHFMIA the Kiehl's Ultra Facial cream is amazing, the price point for the 125ml is about $2 more than the Skinfix which is only 50ml, so from a money saving standpoint it is much more affordable and my experience with it has been amazing. I would say go with the Kiehl's for the summer and fall and try the Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair cream in the winter. Let me know what you think.

@@thecristinamaria I just ordered mine based on your recommendation! I have very dry skin so I think I’m gonna love it. I’ve been using and loving Kiehls ultra facial cream and you have given that a positive review too so I believe I’ll like what u like. Kiehls ultra will continue to be my day cream and planning to use biossance at night

Also, for me I find that during the super dry winter months at night I sometimes like to seal my moisturizer in with either Vaseline or the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 just in areas where my skin seems to be more dry (around my nose, under my eyes, etc.), just to give my skin some extra help, I found it really does make a difference. Let me know what you think about the moisturizer.
