Placed on beta rr 300 the sound is deep and spectacular, it has a hard muffler model that, being longer, holds more of the engine bass. Very happy.

Interesting review... the OXA pipe has more power everywhere - against the Fatty, the stocker or both. Either way the price point makes it a very attractive alternative

Hey Jeff i received the oxa pipe, i got the racing finish and in the package it says to oil the header to keep it from rusting, is that accurate?

@@benibenben8653 Hello Ben Thank you for the purchase. Yes, the instructions are correct. Many guys use WD-40 and a Scotchbrite pad to keep them looking good.

Hello: Sorry, I can't tell. It's a prototype that will be out in the spring after about 10 years of development. I've been involved with the testing since the very first proto, so I've seen it go through many renditions and changes. It's by far the best front tire I've ever tested and my test team agrees. Whenever it's released I'll post a video. Stay tuned.

Am I right to assume that carbon pipe guards for stock pipes won't fit the OXA? For Beta, in my case.

Hello Kyle: We have not yet checked on the Beta guard but you are most likely correct. On my KTM, the stock pipe guard was a mile off.

Thanks for the detailed review. How does it run on a 25 300XCW with stock ECU and mapping? Perhaps the slightly condition you felt would help clean up the slightly rich low to mid feel of the stock 300XCW?

Hello: The O.E.M. mapping is more than "slightly" rich no matter what pipe you use. If you want your TBi to run well and have better fuel economy, get the TSP ERM slavensracing.com/shop/ecu-reflash-module-erm-by-two-stroke-performance/ . Best money you will ever spend.

Hello: I doubt that anyone will need to richen their bikes because I had my fueling set a little on the crispy side for high mountain elevations. Yes, the TSP ERM makes life easy for the home tuner because it is easy to adjust the fueling. I had the ERM in my pack so I just pulled over on the trail, plugged it in and used the richer TSP map. BAM, just that easy and it was perfect!

I have never seen you build or use a two-stroke with a Scalvini pipe? This pipe sounds like it would work great.

Hello: Scalvini makes excellent pipes but I personally don't want the additional maintenance of an un-plated pipe and I don't want the additional weight of a cone pipe.
