Also, the footage there (and most of the video) is sped up a lot, he is actually moving fairly slowly. Not really dangerous at all compared to the presses and the drum sanders.

if there was only global min wage, OSHA ( health and safety) , and child labor laws. I love the work that can be done with little to nothing thats why I find channels like this. but these ppl are being taken advantage of, and are going to pay with there health and shortened life span.

Any dust particles over a certain size are bad for your lungs when you breath them in all day. There are still countries using asbestos because it is cheap and works well in brakes so I would not doubt that it would be used here. I have seen a brake lining manufacturing plant that is almost fully automated and with very litle dust escaping any process but the lives of these people is cheaper. By providing these job oportunities are we in the west helping impoverished countries or contributing to our own downfall through over population. Every country on earth sits somewhere on the economic evolutionary ladder and every one is trying to emulate those that sit higher but that is not possible because the resources needed for that to happen are not available. These people are working in what was our Victorian era with regard to work safety are you going to tell them that for the sake of western economies that is where they will have to stay?

Great point. It seems they already lost the game of life by simply being born there.

Where the cost of a life and labor is cheap, working conditions are equally bad. Aka "When you don't want to do the job there's a lot of other people who will".

A job is a job; if it helps put food on the table, giving dignity, better. The work conditions will improve naturally and gradually as a country evolves.

@rodrigolumi2 жыл бұрын

I wonder how must be the turnover of employees in this factory, pneumoconiosis must be a common disease among workers, since the video is visible the amount of loose particles in the air and only one was filmed using mask and still inappropriate. I like to see the way Indians work, they are extraordinary in making their products almost handmade, but zero safety at work.
