I’m so happy I found Commodity Gold Personal through your channel!! I love it so much and I am super sensitive to scents as I have chronic migraine, but that one is light enough not to bother me. I also was just looking at innbeautys Labor Day sale (another brand you influenced me on - I love the candy apple lip glaze and slushy serum), have you tried their face mist?

I would be so curious to hear your thoughts and comparisons on different fig perfumes! Debaser, Diptyque Philosykos, Ellis Brooklyn Sun fruit and Phlur Father figure are the first ones that come to mind. I trust your nose and I like your scent preferences, but I mainly just love how you describe perfumes using not only notes, accents and technical terms, but also feelings, scenarios, what the scent is evoking, and occasions on which it’s intended to be worn. Overall you just have an interesting and opinion about perfumes and a wit that deserve to be heard! ❤

I’ve reviewed all of those in my perfume collection video except father figure! Phlur fragrances don’t smell good to me so I’m gonna try to go to Sephora today and smell it. If it’s there, I’ll report back!

Just realized philosyskos want in my perfume video - I like that fragrance but not enough to get a full size. I have a mini sample. It smells nice but I don’t get fig. It smells more green and soapy to me for some reason

Reporting back - I tried father figure and it smelled like mint, cleaning product, wood, and green stems on me. Zero fig. I also had a few people DM me they had the same experience, but others got a lot of fig so it might just depend on your chemistry.

Omg yes! 🙌🏻 I have tried so hard to love deeper lipsticks on me…but I have light/med yellowy olive skin with hazel eyes & dark hair….my makeup will look great, then put a dark lip color on - makeup ruined entirely. I just can’t explain it.

As someone with high contrast (darker eyes and hair and pale skin), I feel like I look sick with super nude lips, even with smokey eyes. It looks unbalanced on me. But Kait looks great and can totally pull it off.
