I really liked the approach of conscious lying! It makes the interaction very spontaneous, natural, not forced. It seems to me that the other person will perceive ourselves without filters. And i feel like people nowadays like genuine people, who are not trying to be accepted and can disagree and say "no" several times. It kind of breaks the ice, all this conscious lying skill, I guess. Love your videos and spotify podcast! Keep up the amazing content, can't wait quarantine to be finished, so I can put into practice your advices hahah! Btw, hope you can do a "classic charm" episode on Zayn Malik, as I proposed.

I learned that Matt just needed more practice , and someone to make him do it. I think everyone needs this, not necessarily talking to the opposite sex but just opening conversations every time you have the chance.

These are kinda fun to watch. If you really get that people are people, talking to someone interesting looking isn't scary. For some reason this became really obvious to me when I traveled abroad for the first time. It was like I momentarily dumped my previous narrative and could be myself. It's really the characters we've allowed into our minds that hold us back. Also, I think genuinely not having expectations of the other is important. I can feel when someone is trying to get something from me, and it's a huge turn-off.

I have been binging this channel and I love everything about it. I like how you start with general lessons as in how you should express yourself. You then hone in on specific tips to make a conversation more enjoyable and less akward. I also really appreciate the insight with the people he spoke with, since its hard to know their impression on Matt mid-convo. Not to mention that you're just a great person to watch and listen to.

This is so true!! You have to act like you own the situation and make everyone feel safe, relaxed, and interested. This is something that can be applied to any new situation, I think, and not just dating!! I feel like with time, the confidence becomes more and more real and feel less forced/fake. He was amazing and really fun. Small detail I realized was that he was thinking about what to say next and not really listening to the answers the second lady was giving and women can tell haha! But it makes complete sense since it was his first real attempt and he still did such an amazing job and the advices were fire, as well🤟🏼

Anthony Recenello before I wrote this comment I was thinking the same thing! I think if you slightly tweak the title you could get this series more attention! I feel like it’s something a lot of people would love to watch. “PROFESSIONAL WINGMAN COACHES ______________” , or even just moving the title around so that “The Wingman” comes first. Or even simpler than that you could add colorful words to your thumbnails that would catch attention like “Dating expert”, “rejection? 😱” “success?😍” , “did he get her number? 👀” so that people get pulled in from the thumbnail and know exactly what’s going on. Don’t be discouraged!! I can tell this series took a lot of effort and once people become aware of it I think it will be a hit!! 😊

This is so good. I hope you do more videos working with everyday people learning how to start conversations and etc because it's so cool to see. It'd be awesome to see a similar video coaching a woman, too. Or even anyone with social anxiety on how to make new friends. Your enthusiasm and realness as you teach and lift people up is really motivating me to push myself out of my comfort zone (even just writing this comment is proof of that, lol #anxietyproblems). Anyway - thanks for all of your free expertise you are sharing with the interwebs!

I really enjoyed watching this video and seeing you at work coaching him and helping him open up when talking to girls!! It was very inspirational and entertaining!!!👏💞 I know if it were me he came up to and started talking to I would of been so awkward cuz I'm an socially awkward person as it is becuz I have social anxiety!!😥 But to answer your question Anthony, what I learned is that you have to push pass being uncomfortable to eventually become more comfortable in any situation in life!! Looking forward to the next one!!!😊

Love your Wingman videos more than your Reacts videos... not sure why they don't have as many views. I feel like I see more of your true self in these videos, it feels less staged. One bit of advice to you though is to loosen up even more while you're filming, we love your personality and want to see more of it!

I think he should also work on his head movements, the back and forth bopping of the head can surely get annoying. I would also recommend that he finds clothing that do not appear cheap & basic.. finding his own sense of style would help in addition to cleaning up his facial hair. Looking clean cut is important for a man as well since it is indicative of a healthy mental state. We always try a bit harder if we have more energy + are feeling more optimistic. At least in my case, if a man approached me looking in this way I would not want to pursue due to these reasons. His posture is also important, it shows that he does not feel comfortable.
