Hey im thinking about getting an 1984 kdx200 project bike, were you able to find top/bottom end rebuild components??

Hey, so far not much of a problem with bottom end stuff, I'm currently waiting on crank bearings and such now. Finding a piston hasn't proven easy. Doesn't look like anyone is making an aftermarket yet. But a new kawasaki ones pop up on ebay here and again. I'll be putting out a video soon on re assembling the bottom end as soon as the rest of the stuff gets here .

@@AdamzGarage Check out this thread on TT, it looks like with a little easy modfication you can make the modern ones work on an 84 thumpertalk.com/forums/topic/1007849-1984-kdx-200-piston/

@@AdamzGarage are you re-using the crank itself? OEM bearings or allballz?

@@gusalbers3002 I'm reusing the crank. No up and down play at all. But replacing bearings with all balls.
