Since ă is the short sound of a, is ăn the same as anh? Or not at all?

Very glad to see a new video from you. Yours are the only videos that really break down how southern Vietnamese is actually pronounced. A couple of questions, please. 1) the short ‘a’ sounds very similar to the letter â, is that correct? 2) the final nh = n also sounds different from the regular ‘n’ , so where exactly is the position of the tongue when you say the final ‘n’? Also, your website doesn’t seem to work, all I get is a blank page. Many thanks!

Thank for your question. 1. â only sound the same as ă (or short a) when it combines with - m, -p, -u, -y,. In other words, âu = au,, ây = ay, âm = ăm, ấp = ắp. 2. "nh" sounds the same as "n" as final consonants. The difference is the vowels stand before "-nh" should be shorter. Our website is maintained now, sorry. but it will be ready soon :D hope our answer help you :D

What do mean "is a thing" ? Tao and mày (i and you) are used to close friends or someone when they are angry, in a fight! You shouldn't use this for older people or those who are not close to you! :)

when the ê (only ê itself) combine with n, nh, t, ch, you change to ơ, iê + n doesn't count, so you wont change :)

Dude, what's with your hair? Every SVFF video you do, it looks different (seemingly)... :) BTW, at 4:00, why is there a "v" at the end of "denhv"?? That spelling seems inconsistent with the other words presented. Also, at about 4:55 you left out one of the phrases (i.e., you pronounced the first and third shown, but not the second), could be a bit confusing...
