I grew up in PG County, MD. Had a federal govt job and when the pandemic started we went fully remote and so I moved to save money. My advice to anyone: get you a job in DC that's at least 50% remote (preferably fully remote) and move to Baltimore. The days you need to commute you can take the MARC. Best financial decision I ever made in my life. Currently in my second year of living in this city. Hot Take: I actually love living in Baltimore.

What is your advice on searching for a job in DC while you still have another 6 months left in your lease in another state? I am heavily considering moving to DC. I visited in April of 2019 and fell in love.
@FunmiLayo4 жыл бұрын
Hey girl! I really like job hunting online. You can check out different job sites (Indeed is really good, in my opinion). And if they get back to you try and see if you could do a virtual (web) interview, or save up money to fly in and setup multiple interviews for a few days. If you can’t find a job here in 6 months, it’s okay. DC will be here.
@hothotheat30003 жыл бұрын
There’s a lot of free stuff to do, really walkable, and you can get to the airport very easily. No place is perfect, but if you’ve got the money, you can have a good life there.
