I absolutely love Prose. My hair was dull and unruly. I have 2c type of hair, no dye and I do Brazilian keratin once a year. My hair is now shiny, healthy looking and strong. In my opinion and from my experience the price is worth it. You can skip a month if you're falling behind.

It’s what I’ve been using for months now and I really like it. What I will say, is don’t judge it too much on first use. It’s taken time for me to see the results I wanted, like a less oily scalp and being able to go longer between wash days.

Thank you! I’m a hair stylist. I’ve had a few clients who use it. They were random walk-one who hadn’t gotten regular trims and while I could tell it wasn’t bad I couldn’t give it a fair review and I’m just getting back into hair after a long semi-hiatus and can’t afford to buy a ton of products completely blind to experiment on my own hair with. But after a few non sponsored reviews like this one I will try it for myself!

Hey Courtney, I’ve been wondering when you’d do a Prose video. I’ve been using these products including the leave in and curl cream for about a year now. My hair hasn’t been so healthy and looked so good consistently - EVER. As I’ve told the folks at Prose, my only problem is that they don’t have a gel or enough hold in the curl cream for my hair. BUT, they are at the beginning stages of creating a gel now. YAY!! I currently use JessiCurl’s Spiralicious - Unscented because it doesn’t have glycerin in it. Oh, and one of the greatest benefits of Prose for me (besides great hair) is that I can get my formula unscented and it’s truly unscented. So, for any of your followers out there that are very sensitive to scents (scentsitive) they need to know that you can choose your scent or get it truly unscented. And CONGRATULATIONS on becoming a mom again!!!🎊🎉

@@SwavyCurlyCourtney Prose also has hair vitamins/supplements tailored for you and your needs and desires. I’ve been on them a couple of months and my hair (and nails) is growing much faster and is much healthier. I’m also shedding less. I still shed but not like I used to before the vitamins/supplements. I’d recommend the supplements as well as the hair products.

Thank you for your video! I just started using Prose. I love that light and fluffy feeling after you washed it! I used to be really oily and couldn’t go more than two days without a wash, but I have been able to go up to four now. Another thing I really like is that they have the option of fragrance-free. I’m actually allergic to fragrances and really didn’t think I’d be able to find anything good that could be fragrance-free. All the other ones I’ve tried haven’t worked well for my specific hair. But it’s been a really nice so far!

I've only used formulate. Just got my 3rd batch (doing travel sizes for now). My 1st order was actually really great - except that I can only use them occasionally due to how moisturizing they are. The 2nd batch was absolutely horrendous. It was SO bad that I had to give them negative feedback, which is not my type of thing. It made my hair feel waxy and my scalp had red raw patches & itched like crazy. They sent my 3rd batch for free. Used that once & it was much better - similar to my 1st batch except a bit more clarifying for the shampoo, and a tiny but less moisturizing for the conditioner (which is what I asked for after the 1st set). But the scent is AMAZING!! I got their citrus (sweet citrus?) scent & it's probably my fav scent of all time for hair products! I've been wanting to try strands! If I recall correctly, prose was a bit expensive... & they didn't have travel options? This was awhile ago that I checked.

Great video! Thank you, Courtney! I'd love to try out this brand but they don't ship to Europe :'( Little footnote, in your shampoo you got Shikakai extract not shiitaki :)) I'm pointing this out because Shikakai is an awesome no-poo for anyone interested. It's a natural herbal wash that's used as a powder which you mix with some water and out on your scalp and BOOM it's clean. I personally love it. It cleanses without stripping, it's 100% natural and it's being used for centuries in India, as an Ayurvedic powder :) Shiitake mushrooms are excellent for your health, though :D

Hey, I am 3wks into CGM I believe.. I have a video idea. And I can’t find it so it is needed!! One brand wash days are good bc you tell us how things feel. But I’m just not gonna go buy all the products. And I get overwhelmed bc I can’t tell which one I might like. I like the single styler show down. What about doing one side of your head only. Like a uncle funkys on one side & kinky curly custard on the other? (Just saying those are always compared to each other it seems) And brands like curlsmith. I keep standing in the curlsmith section just super confused. I went to Ulta to buy the weightless air dry cream, then I noticed the hold me softly balm (that just sounds great to me bc I don’t like my crunchy ends that won’t scrunch out) Then the sales lady came to suggest the in shower styler. The brand has sooo many things. What about a video where the only variable is which cream you use? To show us the difference? Also I would like to see half a head of NYM curl talk mousse & gel on one side & herbal essences on the other...

I don't think yr supposed to put the preshampoo mask on ur scalp, there's a scalp mask for that. also same with conditioner (unless ur shampooing after that).

Thank you for the review! I have been wanting to try Prose, but have been nervous because I also have very oily hair and get the little red bumps and I hate trying to manage flare ups! I have been using Briogeo superfoods mango + cherry balancing shampoo and conditioner. Have you tried that?
